Great golf club with a lot of history

Don't let the scorecard fool you into thinking this is an easy course - it weaves through the trees of Wimbledon Common forcing accuracy to be your number one priority. The course doesn't have fairway watering which makes it dry and challenging in the summer months but the greens and tees were in perfect condition. The staff in the clubhouse are incredibly accommodating and friendly and I would recommend talking to them about the history of the golf club. As the third oldest club in England, there is a lot to tell! Would definitely recommend.

Poorly kept golf course with less than friendly clubhouse staff, do not book here!

LOVELY COURSE DESPITE THE DOG WALKERS

Unusual to have 2 clubs sharing the same course. Led to some confusion about which tee was next as none are numbered. Greens and tee boxes in great condition but seemed to spend a great deal of time on tees waiting for the local dog walkers to finish their mothers meetings. Clubhouse facilities minimalist but what do you expect for such a great value course so near central London? Play again? Absolutely.

Interesting course

Thought the course itself was great and ideal for practice for a low 20s handicap like me at the moment! Booked for 2:30 via TeeOffTimes but when we arrived we said we couldn't start until 3:30 so maybe someone didn't update the TeeOffTimes from London Scottish's side. Staff were extremely helpful and suggested we start from the 12th (or the 1st from Wimbledon Common golf course). This worked well and we had an enjoyable round except from being stuck behind two, very slow ladies who didn't understand the concept of letting players "play through". Course in great condition and staff were very helpful. Wrong times! A bit pricey for what it is.
