Awesome course!
Played here on a Sunday 11:30am tee time. I was able to catch a hot deal on Golfpass $170, make sure to check there first before booking.
$30 Uber ride from 15 miles out, $65 for a TM golf hat, $170 green fee, $65 golf club rentals (Callaway Maveriks), $45 rider.
Check-in was easy (NO CASH), gentleman took me to the range and advised I’d be behind 2 4somes if I started in the front 9. Gave me the option of going back 9 so I can have the course to myself, you bet I did.
Course was awesome, but challenging. I just recently started breaking 100 so there was some challenges to this course. Overall great experience, loved the free beer and tacos. I played Ocean and Vista, amazing views from some of the holes. Greens are soft, not much roll on approach shots.
Must play!
This was my first 'vacation golf' round a d it was simply awesome! The staff was super friendly and helpful! The course was in pristine condition! Included in the round was all you can eat and drink at the 4 comfort stations!! My wife rode along for a $45 rider fee. It was totally worth it because the all-inclusive eat and drink applied to her as well. 5+ stars!!
Great Course
I enjoyed the overall layout. I played the Mission and Ocean course. Most of the time I didnt play driver and used 3w or Hybrid as the wind took alot out of your drives. On approach shots, you can be 117 out and hit 7 iron into the greens. Mostly 2-3 club difference depending on the wind. Greens are big and run smooth. Mostly every putt breaks to the ocean. I had a blast and the food and beverage stations (complimentary of the course) best tacos in Los Cabos. The views were awesome. Enjoy
Awesome course!!!
The course is first rate. Rental clubs are butter. The facility and views are top notch. Top shelf Palomas and tacos twice each nine. Cold towels for comfort. Highly recommend!
Amazing. period.
One of the nicest golf courses that I’ve ever played. There was a woman giving a back massage before you teach off, which was a very nice touch. There was nobody behind me for over an hour and a half so I basically have the course to myself, along with my wife, who came as a rider.
Great course…..Amazing Views
Played the course on a vacation trip. Such a wonderful course. Rented clubs for $65 plus the $230 for the round on a hot deal. Will play again! Adios ✌️
Wow….Awesome! Thats all I need to say….
If you get a chance, you have to play this course.Tacos and drinks every 3 holes. Need I say more?? Cheers!
JW bachelor course
Mission course (9) is a great track with some really picturesque holes. Ocean and Vista have their moments, but Ocean in particular wraps around the JW Marriott, so you’ll find yourself with a gallery on a few holes. The par 3 on the water is kind of gimmicky (IMO).
Pace of play was slow (4:40). Conditions were above average, but nothing to write home about. For the money, I’d recommend Cabo Del Sol or Quivira (if you can manage to get on).
As another mentioned, there’s a $45 rider fee, which I also thought was kind of a shakedown not knowing this in advance. If my wife was a drinker, maybe she could have got her money’s worth.
Shrimp is definitely the go-to at the bar huts. Chicken and steak were meh.
Pretty slow, about average by Cabo standards
$45 for cart rider. I’ve paid before, but that’s a complete rip-off. In my case we were trapped because I couldn’t send my wife back to the resort (staying closer to CSL), so they completely took advantage of us.
The course was good, with some really pretty holes close to the water. The back (Ocean course) basically does a lap around the JW resort which makes for some awkward spectator or situations, but the from Mission was a fun a track.
Would recommend Cabo del Sol for the money.
Top quality golf and neighborhood at a premium...I try to appreciate my blessings
Now the East Cape is becoming the land of the Uber rich...Mexico has the biggest gap between local life and developments like Puerto Los Cabo....
When you visit remember to tip the help generously. Even visit the church in San Jose del Cabo and add to their mission...
It's hard to think how far $1,000 usd goes locally compared to $200 dinners for two at any resort community...
Beautiful but pricey!
36 holes of beautiful golf! Ocean views predominate and are gorgeous! Course conditions are excellent with tricky breaking greens. Lots of Long up and down walks to greens.
Mandatory charge for refreshment stations have not changed but variety of foods/snacks have been significantly reduced.
Great golf experience! Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman courses on the same site!!
Awesome golf experience!
There's nothing bad that I can say about this golf experience. The course offers amazing views and is perfectly kept. There are 4 all-inclusive bar and food stops on the course that offer delicious food and cocktails (or ice cold beer). This course is incredibly accommodating and if you can get a "Hot Deal" through Golf Now for this course it's a real steal!
Great Golf
Los Puerto de Cabo is a must play course Beautiful vistas, sea of Cortez, mountains. Course is in perfect shape and this was November. It’s a bit pricey but use Golf Now and you may get lucky.
Terrific Course
The Cabo area is blessed to have several beautiful courses. Puerto Los Cabo’s is a beautiful layout overlooking the Sea of Cortez to the east and mountains to the west. The views are spectacular.
The course is in perfect condition (fairways, greens, bunkers).
The course has comfort stations, which are terrific!!!!! The tacos, chips, margaritas, are wonderful, all for the price of a tip.
A bonus is that it is not on the Pacific side where it is usually more windy. Also, there is great practice area so you can practice every club ion your bag.
I’ve played courses all over the U. S., Mexico and Europe and this course is high on my list of courses you don’t want to miss.
