Kissing Tree Golf Club

Was only able to play 9 but the course was awesome, some of the best greens I’ve seen. If I’m ever in the area I will make sure to play at this beautiful course again.

The only thing I found with this course was that the tee boxes were soak and wet. We played the back tees. Other than that the course was in very good shape.

I’ve wanted to play this course for quite a while, I’ve heard great things, but haven’t wanted to splurge. My birthday is in 4 days and they had a hot deal for $70 (still ridiculous), so I pulled the trigger.

From the time I entered the neighborhood it was a mess, not enough signs and Google maps needs to be updated. I even called the number listed and the gal couldn’t even help me, but I finally figured it out.

There is so much construction going on and there needs to be more signs directing people, I got turned around twice and the cart locks up because of the gps. Mind you, I play golf 2-3 times a week AND I worked in the golf business for 7 years, so sure I have high standards. But when the rac rate is nearly $100 on a Thursday, you have certain expectations.

The guy in the golf shop wasn’t very friendly or helpful, but Steve the starter was friendly. The range balls were dirty, I watched the guy bring them straight from the picker to the den caddies without washing.

The layout is decent, a couple goofy holes, but not really any holes that wow you. Course conditions are good, but I can list 7 or 8 courses in austin for half the money with just as good conditions. And finally, I had a few brief interactions with “members/residents”. They had this air about them like they were members at Barton creek or something but it’s basically sun city in Georgetown for 3 times the money. It’s got potential, but they need a lot of training on customer service and they need to widen the cart paths near range and golf shop and increase the signs. Oh my, I just remembered the hole signs lol. They look like something some guy made in his spare time, they need to spend some money to get real signs for the tee boxes.

I had read some reviews on Google where people had complained that the course was under construction and was a little apprehensive. After the first hole, I realized that the reviewers must have been drunk. The course is beautiful, the greens are well kept and the course itself is in excellent shape. There is a lot of construction happening around the area as it is a new neighborhood. The staff was really nice and the residents that I met are super proud of the upcoming potential that this neighborhood and course will bring to the San Marcos area.

Course was in great shape. Very fun round of golf. No rush and didn’t get held up by anybody.

Overall amazing time and the course offers very beginner friendly holes including multiple par 4 holes with a drivable green. Club house and food área was New and fancy. Great course to play and excellent condition.

I really enjoyed my round the greens were in great condition the whole course was really. Great pace of play starters will cool only complaint was the chick in the food establishment was not that Pleasant. I do recommend playing.

I’ve played here a handful of times now and it’s always a good time. The course is very nicely maintained and offers as challenging a layout as you’d like.

One gripe is that for the price it would be nice to at least put some waters in the golf cart coolers. Granted, I forgot my own water bottle.

Course conditions are solid. Greens Still need a little work.

Always enjoy a round here and am never disappointed

Measuring out at only 6500-6600 yards. Don’t be fooled, par 3’s and a handful of the par 4’s tip out for for some good holes. Thrown in are a couple of short target holes and you get Kissing Tree. Worth the drive from north Austin/Hutto area.
