Was denied two carts after already paying for them on the app. Staff member at course canceled our round after we showed up to course with three players.
Very nice course with one major exception…
Enjoyed the course very much but the only issue was that the pin/hole placements did not correlate with the gps screen or the pin placement on the score card…this issue caused a big difference is club selection on approach shots which resulted in additional strokes.
Other than that, the course was great and we enjoyed it very much.

I like this course once I have chance to stay lake Charles.
Great golf course!!
Except no tree for shadow at the tee box and couldn't use GPS watch mine.
No signal well wifi,almost nothing.

This course still doesn’t have a club house.
When will this be a complete experience? Also a few more shaded areas would be nice

Improved greens
Have not played at this course in months. They have done a great job of making the greens more playable for below average skilled golfers like myself. Greens are very firm and were extremely fast almost impossible to get the ball to stop on the green and putting was like putting on ice. Yesterday however the greens still firm were more receptive and putting was an adjustment but they were rolling really well.

The course needs better maintenance
Needs a little more attention to maintenance. Some of the greens were in terrible shape

The casino courses are highly rated but Mallard is every bit as. Good and a better value

Greens in terrible shape
Greens severely damaged by nematodes and very slow. Most holes are well designed. Poor maintenance. Temporary pro shop is the size of a closet.

Great spot. Great value
Great link course. Layout is very nice. Would recommend. New clubhouse being built so didn’t see that finished but it’s a good spot, especially when resorts in the area charge an arm and a leg. Would play again.

Ok for the price
Course was decent for the price. Staff were friendly, and course was decent. Easily playable for newer golfers. But greens were not in good shape and layout of course was not ideal. One bad shot would have you playing on someone else's hole.

Worth it for the price.
It's like wanting a steak and settling for some leftover fajitas. More than good but it's not a steak

Good Course
True Links course, great layout, enjoyable course to play, easy to get in and go if you just have a short window of time.
Greens are sandy in some places as they are working to better them.
Definitely recommend.
