Punched greens last week
Please be aware the greens were treated about a week ago and need some more time to recover. While this is a necessary green maintenance procedure, I wish we had been informed before driving 2 hrs each way for a less than ideal experience. Both golf now and the courses need to take responsibility and find a way to better represent current course conditions to their customers.
Still, the employees were awesome, and we made the best of the round, and will return this fall.
Great course
Love this
Course,
Always well kept and never so packed that you can’t enjoy playing
Great conditions for summer heat
This course is in great shape considering we are in a drought in Colorado. Greens are rolling very smooth, and grass everywhere is nice and green. Applause for the maintenance crew!!!
Quail Dunes Fort Morgan
Great course east of Denver. I want to express great Kudos to the staff that has worked very hard to get the greens back to very good condition. Very friendly staff.
Course Condition Very Good
The course is in very good condition considering the drought here in Colorado. Greens have recovered well from some winter damage and fairways were green. Hole 16 which had been closed for some time for restoration is open and the green Is fantastic..Staff always friendly, and the inside areas are well set up for social distancing; everyone wearing masks per current state order. Course is rarely crowded; we drive 80 miles one way to play this course, as it is very affordable, has a great layout and wildlife is often seen here. It is a hidden gem in my opinion.
Good Value
Fun Course. Back 9 is very scenic. Average difficulty. Would recommend.
very nice course
this course was a pleasant surprise, very well kept and very challenging, staff was very friendly, definitely would recommend
Fun Course just off I-76
My girlfriend and I took a 90 minute drive out to Fort Morgan to play Quail Dunes, a course I've not played since high school (85). The course has two distinct nine's. a parkland style front nine and a more wide open back nine. Quail Dunes is in great shape, the rough is thick but playable and the greens are a little fuzzy (which I understand as if you cut the greens to low they might brown out in the heat of summer). Oh, and another awesome thing about the greens. Since you're not allowed to touch the flag stick Quail Dunes uses the Golf Ball E Z Lyft system. It's the best covid-19 putting system out there and I wish more courses used it instead of pool foam or an inverted cup. With the E Z Lyft the ball falls to the bottom then you wimply use the putter to lift up the handle and the ball comes out. Quail Dunes is worth the drive out to Fort Morgan!!
A nice course!
Had a very good time, finished early and played another 18. Great staff, nice course.
Over all fun to play. Played during shut down so somethings were not open.
Greens needed a little work. Had not been groomed.
I will play the course again this summer.
