Meadows Golf Club

Course was in decent shape, wide open fairways make for a fun round. Golfnow showed the round with cart when booked, but course charges a $20 rider fee. Not worth $50 for a round on a Monday afternoon. Staff were completely rude when we inquired about the cart fee and said the transaction was done.

Not sure I love the repeat hit to a location then another location but it was very interesting. Will try again

First off, the staff were great. Everyone from the pro shop to the starter to the snack bar were really friendly. The "old timey" feel is charming at first but then you realize they haven't done any facility improvements since it was built in 1984. It's like they are hoarding the green fees and ignoring facility and course maintenance. Not a huge deal just an observation. The course layout is boring, gimmicky and even silly on a few holes: odd sight lines, trees in strange places, no obvious flow to the holes, nothing clever from the architect. Very hard to differentiate fairway from rough. For $65 with cart expected more, but whatever, it's 2020 and can't get t-times these days anyhow...

This course one can tell gets lots of play. But, in regards to that it is in great condition for how much it gets beat up. Big props to the grounds crew. The pro shop staff is VERY friendly! We never had the annoying ranger telling us we need to speed up. Highly Recommend playing Meadows!!!

Got a great 9-hole walking rate which turned into a more expensive 9-hole w/cart. Glad we did. This is a big course with elevation changes. Got hit into once (6) but Todd the course Marshall was good about protecting us.-foursome with wives. Don’t know what has happened to course etiquette but the group behind us must have missed that chapter.

If you’re looking for a frustrating day in the course, then play here. First off, the course conditions were awful. The ground was mostly rock hard, I was hitting thin shots all day. A few places were soft though, it was completely inconsistent And impossible to judge. On top of that, the layout is way too quirky. I could never tell where I was supposed to aim. I would hit it exactly where I wanted, and it would end up in a hazard I couldn’t see or with a terrible lie. And to make things even worse, the greens were inconsistent too. Some were slow as molasses, others were quick. The final straw was when my bag fell off the golf cart because the cart strap securing mechanism gave out. Overall just a miserable experience.

Played this course many times over the years like the layout but very shocked and disappointed to find bare spots on many greens around where the cups were cut like putting through a mine field hard to believe for mid summer.. Teed off at 751a Thinking a four round would be possible only to find a back up on the third tee of 15 minutes waiting for a foursome Of ladies looking for balls in native.. 5 hour and 20 minute round is unacceptable
