Meadows Golf Club
About
Located in the Southwest Metro area, the golf course at the Meadows Golf Club has a links-style layout that provides a challenging and fun game for all golfers. The trio of Bradford Benz, J. Michael Poellot, and Richard Phelps designed this municipal, 18-hole course. It is just over 7,000 yards and plays to a par of 72. The course is situated against the foothills of the Rockies, providing nice views along the course. The risk-and-reward layout of the course features water hazards and bunkers. Meadows Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3, 8th hole, which require a shot over water to a well-bunkered and extremely sloped green.

Recently aerated no advisory
Booked online. The only course I didn't call first before playing regading aeration of greens. Not only were they bumpy but the slowest greens ever. You might as well play it an automatic 2 putt max once on the greens.
Good Golf Course
The Meadows is a fun golf course with a wide variety of holes. Course knowledge can help to keep the score down on several holes. The fairways are pretty well maintained and as far as I can tell the greens roll consistent and true. Not many trees on the course but the few that are on the course can very much come into play. Not much water to speak of on the front, but that doesn't mean there's no trouble to get into. There is a lot of water that comes into play on several holes on the backside. The golf course itself has been in great condition, given the time of year, each time I've been there. The driving range is just fine for hitting a few balls prior to the round but could use some help. The automated ball dispenser can be difficult to use. The balls are all different brands of varying ages. The mats are becoming torn up, but overall gives you everything you need. The practice putting green near the #1 tee gives you the opportunity to hit putts that break in either direction as well as up and down hill putts, no compounders though. The golf and F&B staff are nice enough. Overall one of my favorites to play.
Good course, some challenging holes, shot selection is important
We took advantage of a good deal and tried this Littleton course. The prior reviews were a bit all over the spectrum. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The one thing we didn't figure out until too late is the putting green is close to the 1st tee box. The course has some features that inspire you to play it again. #2's target landing forces your to make a good shot selection. #6 shot requires a plus carry to make it from the gold/black, 260? based upon the rock marker. #12's water hazards will challenge to newcomer to the course on both tee and 2nd shots. #16's water is way closer than you realize on your approach shot. So, it's not just blast away course, good course management is useful. The 19th hole could use a few mixes for their scorecard special well drinks...perhaps sweet & sour mix and maybe margarita mix for those warm weather rounds. Still, we'll be back for more rounds!
Nice early season round
The course was in good shape for early in the season. Greens and fairways were in good condition. Construction on the par 3 11 caused only the forward tees to be available.
My only complaint about this course is the layout of the par 5 12th. That hole offers no "safe" areas to miss. It is very easy to hit both first and second shots into the water.
Day after turkey
Excellent conditions, course and weather plus pleasant company made playing a round of golf a day after Thanksgiving just one of the many reasons living in Colorado special.
I hope this is posted
Sadly, we have played this course many times before and have always been pleased. Today, pace of play was sooo slow and we always waited with minimum of three groups on every tee. On the 13th tee we had seven (7) groups on 2.5 tees, and groups yelling at each other. We quit with 3 holes to play and when we stopped at clubhouse they just said, "sorry, we didn't know". On other courses they would have apologizes and offered a free 9 holes to return, but they felt it was not their problem. So, we were somewhat disappointed but there are many other courses I can book tee times on. As a constant golfnow user, I hope you post this review
Great value, great staff
This is a beautiful area with plenty of great looking holes. There are a lot of visual distractions as a result, so be careful lining up your shots.
The staff is always very friendly.
Food afterwards was great.
We were visited by a coyote on the fairway of #12. Awesome.
Fun track, really slow pace
Slow pace of play. Group ahead held up several groups, didn't let us play through and nobody on the course to encourage faster play.
staff
purchased a 2:15 tee time for 1. arrived at course a little before 12 pm. no one in pro shop or at starters shack.no one around except staff, conditions very windy and only was there because of no refund policy. when I purchased that morning ,on line , wind was not an issue. was told could not play till tee time as this was a discounted tee time. came back at 2:25, same conditions as above and was told I missed my tee time.NO ONE WAS ON COURSE. have not played since, and have no plans to play this course due to the policy and attitude. I got the impression from staff they do not care for the golf know discount deals and program. if this is the case why are they on board with you. this course is a lot of fun to play and is always in good to excellent condition.I have always enjoyed playing this course, but cant bring myself to go there again with the poor staff attitude towards golf know patrons. I hope you can see to an improvement in the future towards other golf know patrons. this course is a great track and the supt. has the course in great shape,
Challenging Course
This course exceeded my expectations on challenge. The pro shop could work on a little more friendless and be less grumpy. Felt VERY UNWELCOMED. They need to H ire someone that enjoys their job.
Beautiful course. Would go back again some time this year.
Didn't take the opportunity to play, Pro please do your job!
I didn't take to opportunity to play as I got there and carts weren't available so my comments will only direct to the Golf Pro/Manager. Your update of info on sites like Golfnow are easy to do and expected. I know you can't control weather or dampness but you should know the condition of your course and if it will be deemed walking only for a few extra days put it in there and if carts are available for those that show to play then a bonus for us. I've had both knees replaced and an ankle tendon repaired and expecting to ride is premium when I book tee times. Cart path only also works. It looks like a nice course.
Great condition very windy very cold
Golf courses in great condition it was a cold and windy day that's probably why we played it in two hours and 50 minutes as a twosome definitely ready to go back like for to be a little bit warmer though love the golf course
Very good course for the value
The course was in good shape considering there has been little rain over the 2 months. The pace was alittle slow on the front nine but loosened up after the turn. The layout is nice with some challenges but not ridiculous. The staff was very friendly and helpful including a cart girl. Great value for this course at $35 with cart.
One of my favorite courses
I have played here many times and have always found the paceof play fabulous, never more than 4:10, and the course is just fun with great views.
Great deal
Great value did the hot deal worth every cent. Thanks
Fun and Challenging
Great course. Love playing here. Worth your time and money for sure
Pace and type of Play
We were behind 3 young men who didn't know how to play the game or the etiquette of the game. The three were playing out of only 2 golf bags and one was riding on the back of the cart, but we didn't see a marshal the entire round.
The greens had a lot of unrepaired ball marks.
Great course layout.
Great track
We had a blast. Very tough par 5 on the back that can frustrate. Challenge was right and the prices of food and beer was reasonable
Greens
Nice fast smooth greens throughout the course with few exceptions. Fairways were well manicured with nice first cuts on the edges.
