Twin Peaks Golf Course
About
Twin Peaks Golf Course has a traditional layout that appeals to players of all skill levels. It's a public course that is situated less than an hour from downtown Denver. The player-friendly layout has a mix of straightforward holes and doglegs. The course is wide open, offering uninterrupted views of Long's Peak. Though the fairways are flat and generous, be prepared for the elevated greens. If you miss them you'll be faced with difficult uphill and downhill chip shots from the surrounding mounding. The golf course also requires a bit of accuracy due to a few strategically placed trees. There are a few tricky holes but overall it's a layout that beginners can feel confident approaching. In addition to the course, Twin Peaks G.C. has a practice facility complete with a driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

Not bad
I've played Twin peaks close to ten times. It's a nice municipal course. Very laid back, not even a Marshall in sight. The only thing I can complain about was they had just aerated the tees and greens. Other than that good as always.
Nice course with narrow fairways, consistent greens
This was a nice course, in good shape, and with very consistent (although very fast) greens. The pin positions were quite difficult, with only a few feet to the edge of the green on most of them. The greens were VERY fast. Downhill puts were scary - missing the cup meant a good distance back uphill.
The fairways are mostly narrow, and close together. You'll probably end up waiting for someone else to play out of your fairway at some point. But it was overall a pleasant experience. Most of the holes are straight, and the dogleg holes were easy to drive through the landing zones. The rough wasn't so rough you couldn't hit out, so it wasn't really damaging to your score.
Twin Peaks Experience
This course was fairly easy with ample fairways and moderate rough. The greens were in great shape and putted very consistently. If you are looking for a confidence builder, this is a great track.
Twin Peaks
great greens, well taken care of! Pins were in tough location, made for an interesting day.
Pace of Play...
Pace of play was beyond terrible. We had a 2:08 tee time, we finished at 7:08 on the dot. No rangers or marshalls on the whole course. Other than that its a neat little course. Id recommend it to anyone in the area who is bored w/ their home course.
Place is Awesome!
Exceptionally friendly staff to greet you upon arrival. Great snack bar area, with the option to buy a burger/dog; also provides a large selection of beer choices. Course is in excellent condition. Round played quickly. Location and Rocky Mountain Views from every hole make it a beautiful outing. Even met the Golf Pro, Keith Martin, he was very personable and welcoming. This place is a AWESOME Colorado golf gem!
Small fairways and good greens.
The course is in good condition. Accurate tee shots are must. Shot from the rough have shard time holding the green. This us enjoyable golf, not to tough not to easy.
Best greens of this year.
Forgiving rough; fantastic greens. Will play again and often.
Great course!
I had heard from a few people that this was a good course to golf so I decided to give it a try. Overall I was very satisfied. Although the course was not as difficult as I had thought (On a couple holes it is a straight shot to the green and putting on these holes was relatively easy), it still had its challenges. The condition of the course was way above average. Overall I enjoyed the course. I would play again for the hot deal of $35 w/ cart, but for a normal round at $50-60, there are far, far superior courses.
Design Flaw ruins it
I have never played a course with "moats" of deep grass surrounding the greens, and I am not a fan. If you run just off the green you will be in a trench of deep, thick grass. Either put it on the green or miss it entirely. Chipping out of these trenches is nasty. The layout of this course is nice, not great, not awful. The trenches surrounding the greens make me never want to play it again.
TWIN PEAKS
Hate it when you have no course management and it takes 5 hours to play a round. One foursome was holding the entire hostage to their very slow play.
Good Drainage
We played after a week of rain and did not find as much puddling as expected. The rough was thick due to the rain even though it had just been cut. Greens were in good shape even with the recent aeration.
It's all about GIR
For early March the course and greens were spectacular. Don't let the flat park style course lull you into too much relaxing. The greens are smaller and mounded all around them. Sloped from front to back and smaller. If you want to score get your green in regulation and leave it below the pin. HAVE FUN!
Twin Peaks
For early Feb the course was in great condition. Greens were thaw and receptive. Fairways are wide and forgiving. Not a really long course but challenging none the less. It was a bit chilly and really windy so it wasn't all too busy. Therefore I cannot comment on pace of play. The pro-shop guy was nice - let me go earlier than tee time!
Overall a nice course. I think it's a good value and I recommend.
Grip it and rip it
First time playing this course. Greens are in excellent shape for being December. Nice wide fairways so you can really let your drives go...holes are challenging and interesting. Will be playing many more times.
Good course- tough greens!
The course is in excellent shape- Very lush fairways & greens are smooth. But the greens are a real challenge- they are tough to read & some have a severe slope. There are many elevated greens, as well, making it tough to get on in regulation. It's a challenging course that will help improve your game.
Definitely worth the drive
Drove up from Denver. Took about 45 minutes but I went off the highway and took alternate routing through the country. Very pretty drive.
The course was a little bit soggy due to all the rain they have been getting and play was delayed twice due to thunderstorms passing through. After the 2nd delay nearly everyone else playing went home and I got to play the back nine all alone.
The greens are in great shape and the course is very forgiving. Errant tee shots just end up on the adjoining fairways. I'm a 20+ handicap and managed to shoot an 85 thanks to the layout and greens that held approach shots. All in all a great day out on the course.
Good course for the cost!
Course was in great shape. Pace of play was a little bit slow, but what do we expect on a Saturday?
Nice course
Great condition. Fast greens. Good pace of play. Friendly staff. Would play again.
