Twin Peaks Golf Course
About
Twin Peaks Golf Course has a traditional layout that appeals to players of all skill levels. It's a public course that is situated less than an hour from downtown Denver. The player-friendly layout has a mix of straightforward holes and doglegs. The course is wide open, offering uninterrupted views of Long's Peak. Though the fairways are flat and generous, be prepared for the elevated greens. If you miss them you'll be faced with difficult uphill and downhill chip shots from the surrounding mounding. The golf course also requires a bit of accuracy due to a few strategically placed trees. There are a few tricky holes but overall it's a layout that beginners can feel confident approaching. In addition to the course, Twin Peaks G.C. has a practice facility complete with a driving range as well as chipping and putting greens.

No cart path
Course was in good shape but their was a lot of puddles all over the course from what I do not know. Their was not a cart path so everyone drove wherever they felt like all the way up to the green. The greens were hard to read and a little slow because the ball stopped going down a steep downslope.
pierre Lopez golfer
I found the course set up very nice course was in great condition value for the money was excellent Stephanie Lewis was awesome I would definitely play there again enjoyed my golf outing with my friend was a beautiful day then again the course was in perfect condition
Diamond in the rough
For $44 riding, you really can't beat this place. The whole course was in great conditions, and the greens were about as fast and smooth as what you'd expect at a country club. The beverage attendant made plenty of laps, was super friendly, and drink prices were also cheap!!!
A classic parkland course
Subtle breaks on raised greens ....always keep you on your toes. Water hazards on several holes . Fairway bunkers ( There are none.) would be a nice addition to the course design , to define some of the holes. They do a good job teaching juniors at Twin , and it's a very friendly atmosphere. Always a fun place to play.
Course is great
Course was in great condition, holes from the tips are challenging , views were spectacular
Fun Time
Had a great time. Challenging course due to length and water. My two-some got paired up with another couple of guys. Together we had a very good time and enjoyed the company. The 3-some in front of us was slow and kept us waiting at the tee-boxes and the greens though. Could have used some golf etiquette lessons.
great greens
we've played 12 courses in Colorado already this year & by far the best greens we've seen..
Good Course Conditions w/ Tough Greens
For early May this course is in great condition. No aeration or any other maintenance going on. The course plays pretty flat and straight on most holes. The greens were tough. Pin placement presented a challenge and the greens were fastest I have played so far this season with challenging slopes on all of the greens. I will be playing this course again this year for sure.
Good Muni
Always in great shape. Not overwhelming, but mounds around the greens will test your short game on misses. Green conditions are always wonderful - slopes, and speed make putting challenging.
Cute little course
Yes, I called a golf course cute. If you are looking for a challenging course, this is not it, but it is a charming, straight forward and well taken care of municipal course. It was very busy the day we went but the pace of play was surpassingly decent, even with a 5 year old golfer in front of us. This is a good place to practice straight away shots and even teeing off with clubs other than the driver. Several times I found myself driving a little too far on dog legs.
I definitely will return and bring my wife to this course since she is a beginner, she will have fun here without some of the pressures at our local spots.
Long Peak looms large over course
The staff in the clubhouse was friendly and helpful.
The course was well prepared for the time of year and in better shape then other more pretentious/pricy courses in the area are. The weather was a steady wind out of the northwest making the 54 degree temp even colder. I would come back mid year and give it another whack.
Course conditions should be stated
Twin Peaks is a fun track to take avg players or family. ALL I ASK: is conditions be known before you pay. Yesterday holes were shortened from par 4 to par 3 and wasn't listed online or before we paid.
Terrible golf course
Booked a super saver deal through golfnow for $29. They should have paid me to play there. Course is in terrible condition and two of the fairways are so bad they closed the holes and played them as par 3s, with no mention of this on golfnow for in the clubhouse when we paid the green fees. Looked forward to playing in the 75 degree weather and the golf was an absolute disappointment.
Unpredictable greens
Course is well laid out with lots of small trees strategically placed.. Greens have a unique cut to them, don't be surprised if you have a straight flat 10 foot putt that inexplicably goes left or right. It takes a little getting used to. Several of the fairways were somewhat bare and dry, sometimes negating good tee shots. Otherwise well maintained.
Nice place to play
This is a great place to come visit . The staff is always helpful, friendly and easy to deal with. Course is fun and always in great shape.
Good course for the value
The course is in good shape. The pace of play was surprisingly good for the amount of people playing. The greens are in great shape and the only real defense for the course. I would guess they are rolling around 11 and with the slope they can bite you if your not careful. Along with the price that included the cart I would recommend this course to my friends
This course is for the plain and simple
Staff was very friendly, club house had all the needs, but the course's design and layout was boring, flat, and unimaginative. Yet, this course is great for the duffer that just needs a place to get out there and hit the ball or for the beginner getting started playing the game.
Nice views
Overall a good experience. Course was in excellent shape. Fairway are delineated and the greens quick. Some challenges as the course has mature trees and some water hazards. Not a tricky course and quite a few straight away holes. Most greens are elevated from fairways so that's makes you think a bit. Pin positions are available on the score cards and the corresponding position number is shown in the golf shop. Play was slow on this particular day, especially on the back nine. Facilities for practice was very good and the green was indictative of how the rolled on the course. I will probably be back from the long drive from the Littleton area.
I will play Ute Creek instead
Recent business trip afforded me a day of golf, but this place was a very poor experience. Staff was put off by my presence, and the club rentals were the worst. Although they were PING i15(?) clubs, they were in pretty bad shape. I could not use the driver because the grip was dry rot, and only about 3/4 of it was left. The bag had such a hodge podge of clubs it was better off in the land fill. When I took it back after my game, I tried to inform the old guy there (only to get his time in and a free match later) grabbed the bag and was hauling it off to the back, while I was trying to pull the club and show him. My beat is it ended up in the back waiting for the next traveler. It is clear they only want the locals and their buddies. Stay away from the course, not worth the money, or the attitudes.
