The South Par-3 Course is one of two par-3, public golf courses that Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills offers. In total there are four courses, varying in length and size, at Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills. Unlike the 7-hole North Par-3 Course, the South Par-3 has 9 holes and it is 1,060 yards from its longest tees. The course is quite challenging for a par-3. Water hazards come into play on four of the nine holes. It offers excellent practice for those wanting to improve their short game as it tests several different handicaps. Although less demanding than the 18-hole Gold Course, the South Par-3 is a great short course.

tee boxes in poor shape. Greens were total junk. most holes under 100 yards. One 177 yard and one 204 yard. Putter and wedge is all you need.
Course
The first hole had standing water on the green and the out ring to the greens was very choppy. The last to hole of course were in the best fair ways but the greens had way to much sand.
Great for beginners
Great course for beginners, most of the holes are fairly straight but leave plenty of room for error. I’ll be playing again soon!
Improving!
This course fits my needs perfectly, because I'm learning and play this course weekly. A couple negative points this past week, there are big holes in the green on Hole 1 and there is trash strewn along the path. We play early morning and am surprised at the amount of drink cans that are just tossed aside. There are rubbish bins and maybe one at every hold is needed along with a reminder.
Nice way to begin a day!
The course is lovely. Would like to see another tee box. Also, lots of trash in some corners.
Not going back
Was not impressed with this course at all. The t box and green were in horrible condition. First course I’ve played in a while that does not announce groups and t times when they are next or on deck. I had to call and confirm my t-time had even been booked because an email confirmation was never sent. When I called the pro shop the kid was rude and had his feet propped up on the desk when we went in to pay. Will not be going back.
The only real issue I had was that they did not have my tee time on the schedule for me. She was able to work it out for me to play with my grandson
Fun Par 3
This is a fun and challenging par 3 course with a lot of different distances (ranges from 65 yards to 177). Super fun to get in a quick 9!
Great except for slow groups ahead
Ladies league ahead was slow so we took extra practice at each hole but it’s a great place for the price
