Golf Advisor: Top Courses in Colorado
Below average Denver municipal course
We teed off at 1030am on Sunday of MLK weekend during COVID so we expected a closed bar/restaurant, hard greens & fairways, and a slow round. But this was ridiculous how slow it was today. I suspect it could be significantly improved by the management by spacing out tee times and/or marshaling the pace of play. Also there was no food/beverage lady. The round was worth half of the $56 we paid per person.
Great November Condition
The greens were in fabulous shape for this time of year; they were quick & clean... Course has good management of the leaves; tnx
Enjoyed the layout. Challenging but fair! Beautiful Mountain View’s. Would definitely play again.

Willis Case did a great job with the current health crisis. The carts were cleaned and ready to go. The pace of play was good. Played 18 holes in less than 4 hours. Amazing.

Great Conditions for Good challenge
Willis Case is a challenging public course for an intermediate golfer like myself carrying a 21 handicap. Play the golf tees as a Senior. They won’t disappoint. Fairways and greens both in great shape for late Fall play. Hills and valleys make for some interesting hole scenery changes and challenging walking conditions. Best first tee view in Denver.
I use to play this course once a week for years. I was excited to play., what a shock . No marshal on site play was very slow it took over 5 and a half hours to play.. This course use to be the best conditioned public course in Denver. The grass on the greens was long almost tee box long.. The cup locations had not been changed in days.. Fairway grass was long poorly maintained. One bright spot was the girl in the pro shop. She came out to apologize for the slow play.. So sad..
Great beginner's course, no range FYI
The course was in excellent shape, considering it's a pubic course. There are few hazards, making this course very friendly to beginners. My only knock on Willis Case is that there is no driving range.
A good value course
The course has a number of long holes that are very forgiving. The layout of holes is a bit awkward and the cart paths are in serious disrepair ( minus a small section with concrete paths). The front 9 seems to be quite a bit more difficult than the back 9
