Water hazards come into play on four of the nine holes. It offers excellent practice for those wanting to improve their short game as it tests several different handicaps. Although less demanding than the 18-hole Gold Course, the South Par-3 is a great short course.

Cheap. Get what you pay for.
Almost unplayable greens because covered in debris.
Tee boxes in complete disarray.
People playing in ripped tanks and sweat pants.
No course signage to next hole. Not on scorecard either.
Zero course etiquette.
I got what I paid for I guess.
Course maintenance going on was annoying
The course is a fun little par 3. I enjoy playing the course and it's a nice walk. Costing only 13 bucks with a pull cart is well worth it. This last time though it was frustrating. We tee'd off at 840. If front of us on several holes were the maintenance crew mowing the green, and substantially throwing off pace of play and making us wait while they finished. On 9 the fairway mower just sat up the hill past the hole until we hit then drove past as we were preparing to putt and starting mowing again, which is awful when trying to putt. I've never in all my time playing been so inconvenienced by things that are taken care of normally prior to play not disrupting play.

The staff at Hyland hills is always friendly and professional, I love all of the courses!!

the course was in great shape today and we had a very enjoyable walking round
What a Place!
Fabulous staff! Wonderful place to play even when really hot because of the beautiful shade trees. Truly like a nature hike with clubs. Great way to work on your short game and have a delightful day in "the park". Thanks again to the club shop management. Winnie
Lost too many balls
Lots of water to hit over causing too many lost balls. Would prefer that some of the short holes were longer.
