The South Par-3 Course is one of two par-3, public golf courses that Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills offers. Unlike the 7-hole North Par-3 Course, the South Par-3 has 9 holes and it is 1,060 yards from its longest tees. The course is quite challenging for a par-3. Water hazards come into play on four of the nine holes. It offers excellent practice for those wanting to improve their short game as it tests several different handicaps. Although less demanding than the 18-hole Gold Course, the South Par-3 is a great short course.

This course is a great place to get back into golf. It is a beautiful course
Fun par 3
The south course at Hyland is a good way to practice your pitching and putting and get outside on a nice day for under $10. Recommended!
Good Value
Highland Hills Gold course is awesome. If you can’t make it on there, the par 3 course will keep you guessing. *actual yardage posted may vary

South Par 3
Course was pretty backed up. By the time we walked to hole five, there was one group on the green playing it and two others ahead of us waiting to play. First I've ever seen four different T-time groups waiting to play a green before!
Great fun great staff
The golf now app has holes 1 and 9 mixed up.
For 8 bucks you cant go wrong for a good 1.5 hours of fun.

Exeptional Staff
With all that is going on right now, it is refreshing to encounter a family friendly staff and not a bunch of golf snobs.
Re-opening after COVID-19
My husband and I got to enjoy a great morning of golf on the Par 3 course! It was very easy to book our tee time and everyone in the parking lot was virtuous and stayed within the rules. They did a great job preparing the greens for easy play without touching poles. Being able to start playing again made a huge difference to our psyche and we were pleased at the social distancing kept by all.

This course is in horrible condition
I used to play this course all the time years ago but it seems like it has be severely neglected. The greens on the first 4 holes are all patchy and almost unplayable. It’s sad I used to love this course but after today I will never play it again
Fun & Challenging Little Course
2nd time I have played here and enjoyed it just the same. Pretty sights and some good challenging tee shots forcing you to hit under or over trees. Also, a decent amount of water on the first 4 holes - can definitely lose a ball quickly if you're not careful. Overall an enjoyable and secluded par 3.
Extremely short and difficult
The first 5 holes are way too short but really there's nothing they can do about this. I'm a pretty good player and the hazards you have to jump over and trees you need to hit under on the holes provide for a challenge worthy of any player. I've never seen more bunkers on a par 3 than the 8th hole, good luck to anyone over a 5 handicap!
Fun par 3 course
Has some fun holes between 60-100 yards and some longer shots. Course in fine shape. Good bang for the buck.
