Blue:Second, par-4, 430. A hole that plays straightaway, but with an emphasis on length. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/31/2021

White, 2nd, par-3, 226. Playing downhill from an elevated tee, this is what a good par-3 should be. Big, frontal bunkers are hidden from view here. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/31/2021

White: 5th, par-5: My favorite hole rolls as if it’s part of a links and affords a view of Hueblein Tower, 165 ft tall, atop the hill. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/31/2021

Red, 7th: Par 3, 201. Threats are presented by a bunker right, big pine tree left (unseen here), and--if you slice it, a pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/23/2021

White, 8th, par-5, 600. Fair enough from tee to green, eight turns downright ornery around the green complex. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/23/2021

Decent for the money
Course was ok for the price and for the time of year ... I wish I was told that the blue course was closed prior to booking as I would of booked else where..I was told to go from red course to white course.. very basic lay outs on the red course not bad to open up on and the white course isn’t to bad but over all not very challenging and not worth the hour drive out there..no one really enforcing pace of play and I got stuck behind a few groups that were a bit stubborn to let me play through but was still able to finish my round before dark... may return to play again when the blue course is open but as of right now it will be in my no play list ..
Great conditions, even late in season
Few people were out playing on November 1st, so they got us right out and didn't even make my partner and I play with the other twosome due later.
Given the time of the year, the course was in fantastic shape. Well-manicured fairways with very few leaves present and tough but consistent greens. Grounds crew was out and have done a fantastic job.
Layout is good. Forgiving yet occasionally narrow. Got a great deal and seeing how it is, I'd probably pay a bit more next time.
Only issue I had was needing to try five carts before finding one that worked. Even that one didn't have an automatic emergency brake disengagement feature that's pretty common. Would play again!
Fall golf
The falling leaves makes fall golf a challenge. Even watching the ball land does not guarantee it will be found. Longer rough required skill to advance the ball. It is a fair course that tests ones whole game.
Beautiful Course
Beautifullly maintained. Short par 4’s but challenging greens sorrounded by deep bunkers. Will definitely play it again.
White and Blue
We played the white course in under 2 hours. The course was in good shape. We then went to the Blue course where we had a solo playing in front of us and he apparently had paid for two rounds because he was hitting a minimum of 2 balls. The threesome in front of him was also .slow so no point in a confrontation. The pace on the back was slow and hence the average rating. The greens were also recently aerated which would have been nice to discuss ( maybe go to the red course)?
Amazing customer service
Got a great deal through GolfNow. The staff was outstanding and the conditions and overall experience were beautiful. Thank you.
A few greens on the red course are in rough shape, the 8th hole is the worst. That is the only knock I have, I'll be back soon.
Blue Fox Run
The condition of the course was not very good the fairways were very truth up the greens however were immaculate the course layout left a lot to be desired. The chicken wings at the restaurant were very good the staff was very friendly. I don't believe I will play this course again I just did not like the condition it was in.
Great deal
Very good Golfnow deal and nice course, definitely worth it
Great course
I played early in the morning. Course was in great shape and the staff could not have been nicer. Great round of golf
great day and a a nice course
The weather was picture perfect and very much appreciated. The pace of play was the only blemish on the day. The Blue course was closed down so a increase in traffic on the other two was to be expected. All in all a good deal and good conditions.
Perfect day, nice course
The courses were in good shape for the end of July. The pace of play was not great but that was probably due to the Blue course being closed off. All oin all a nice day at a nice course
Good Muni
nice flat and walkable course in good condition. great value and good pace of play. you must try it,
Terrible....
Worst experience golfing. Overbooked with no management of pace had 5 groups backed up with people in front meandering and not trying to speed up. Ranger did nothing to speed up the game and myself along with others left prior to completing the round. 5 hours with 3 holes to go is insane.
Blue Fox run Red to Blue
Blue Gox Run consists of three nine hole links. Today played the Red nine followed by the Blue nine. The heat wave in the 90s followed by thunderstorms made the day challenging. The fairways and greens are in good condition, yet the dry conditions are stressing them, despite watering. They run slow, so a good short game is essential to score well.
Flat fairways are challenged by narrowing with vegetation, trees, and wetlands or links grasses. Interesting. High penalty for errant shots.
Recommend it for longer hitters. A little too long for seniors playing from white tees. In the future I was told the women tees will double for seniors. Should make scoring more competitive.
Carries not too long for most golfers. Traps are good from fairways, less so around greens with variable sand conditions. It’s nice that the rakes are not in the sand as it is illegal to move them in a trap if a ball is in contact with them.
Two decades ago my future son-in-law played it while his future bride had a wedding shower. He shot a 79 his lowest score ever. It continues to be good for all skill levels.
Any day golfing is better than my best day at work
Overall a good day, only issue was that the greens had just been aerated so putting was a little bumpy
