Worth a trip to play!
Greens are well maintained! Definitely recommend riding if playing the Red course cause it’s hilly. Most holes are straight always with minor hazards and turns.

First time playing this course. Nice public course. Well kept. Not difficult, but not easy either. A good challenge for a mid handicapper

Just a note
They changed carts and eliminated GPS but did not reduce cart fees $17 per golfer seems a bit high!!
Nice Day At The Wheeler
Course is in good shape. Tee boxes need work. Greens slow and fairyways in good shape. Traps great shape. Red is tuffer than the black.
Great shape!!!!
Great layout with some challenging hole, beautiful day!
Careful - It could be trap
We get to the course and there was an outing out there that started at 12 noon on a Saturday. The starter (very nice) said, you'll catch them but they'll be off the course soon. Well we caught them on the second tee box, and proceeded to wait for 20-30 minutes extra on every hole (they were playing a scramble). After 7 holes, we had been on the course for 2+ hours already, and literally just drove off. FCW got a $100 donation from us.
I think its unethical that you would put an outing out, in the middle of the day, on the weekend, AND have all those tee times open immediately afterwards. Nobody wants to be on the golf course for 7+ hours unless you really aren't there to play golf or hate being at home.
Greens were in good shape, tee boxes as well. Very wet fairways, poor drainage which is a real shame because the layout is very nice. I'll try it again in another 5-10 years.
Challenging
Had a great time with friends. We were exhausted by the 18th hole when we got there we were like we need a Par 3 at the 18th.
