We enjoy playing this course. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Some of the greens are a bit rough making putting quite challenging.

Ok this was an unbelievable golf experience. No words just go play and enjoy an incredible round of golf in a beautiful Hawaiian setting! Nature at its best! Greens in great shape and yes cart paths are part of the natural experience in a mountainous valley with scenic views you will not soon forget. You will not get anything like this for $35 with a cart! We loved our round here! Great people great staff great carts and awesome rental clubs!

$25 round thru golf now, the course is very rough, and in need of maintenance. Tiger Woods and course design company has a gem in the making. Beautiful valley like no other, hole layout is pretty good, greens, bunkers, cart paths all in need of work. But $25 golf in Hawaii, this might be the last time to play this beautiful course at this rate.

The course condition is poor but the price is great for golfing in a Hawaii. Golf carts definitely needs upgrading, greens could use some attention.

Its Hawaii the sun is shining and the weather is perfect. Shame about the experience at this course. On first greeting via phone and in person the lady receptionist / front desk was unfriendly and bordering rude. The course and cart paths are in terrible shape. The cost was $67 and worth about $30. Great location with an amazing energy with the mountains and ocean (distant view). Could be good to great but actually poor. No bar just a fridge. 4 handicap - tight holes but not very tough, mostly driver wedge par 4's from the tips. Pay the extra and pay $100 to play somewhere memorable.

A very scenic course for a reasonable fee. The greens were better than the other two I have played at a much higher rate. Course was not busy-as a single I could play holes again.

The cart paths definately need a lot of work. Easier to get on grass as soon as possible. Love the course layout but hardly a level lie to be found. Even steep enough to make it hard to get the ball up on many holes. Beautiful views of ocean and mountains plus the tropical hues of many trees. Depending upon when you come it can be slow going but generally it moves along OK unless you are behind beginners. Compared to all but the military courses it is a reasonable value.

The greens were the worst on the island by far. Almost had to play automatic 2 putts. Definitely will not go back even though it is as cheap as it comes for non locals.

Some of the views at this course were spectacular. Disappointed in the greens. Didn’t seem to be well maintained & certainly did not roll well. For the premium you pay as a visitor, not sure it’s worth it.

A little out of the way but a good golf course.

Too bad they did not have more money for maintaence. The bunkers need work as do the cart paths.

If those things were fixed it would be great.

3rd time to play course in the past 15 years as I'm from the Mainland. The cart paths still need to be fixed...so what. Green fees are reasonable, rental clubs are in good shape and reasonable ($48 with tax), the fairways are nice, not perfect, but nice, the are greens fun...they will break uphill towards the ocean, sounds crazy, but it does happen. Views of surrounding mountains are beautiful. Staff was friendly. Pace of play was under 4 hrs on day I played. I think some expect too much as I read some of the negative reviews as this is a local course and NOT a resort course. Go and have good time and appreciate the fact you not paying overpriced resort fees.

I've heard of goat tracks but, this was a chicken tract. Literally first tee box had 10 chickens on it and the course was in horrible shape. Greens are very bad along with rest of course. The cart paths are great if you like off roading. On the plus side it's super cheap as far as out of state hawaii golf goes but, I wouldn't play it again for free.

Standing on first tee as a single was asked to join a threesome , they too were also from Washington state. But they being retired live in Hawaii for extended periods so this was there home course. Friendly group and helpful, course knowledge was nice. Agree the views of the ocean and mountains were nice, I always prefer courses without homes bordering the course and that makes this one an added benefit. I do agree on how rough the cart paths are. Finally a very friendly staff in all areas.

The course is great, beautifully situated in a valley between mountains and a view of the ocean from some holes. The pace of play is casual so it makes for an extremely relaxing day. The carts are well maintained. The only negative thing I have to say is the cart paths are really bumpy and needs patching or repaving (parking lot too).

After big storm, lots of trees down blocking cart paths and roughs. Course played wonderfully. People were great. Will play here again.

The course is great. The greens are very tough. The cart paths are the worst I have ever encountered. Overall, it was a fun course that I look forward to playing again
