Royal Kunia Country Club boasts a reputation as one of the best and most scenic golf courses on Oahu. The course is perched high above the Ewa plain, offering panoramic views of the entire South Shore, stretching from Pearl Harbor to the downtown skyline of Honolulu to the famed Diamond Head. The layout rolls across a gently undulating landscape, offering a diverse layout of short par 4s and demanding par 5s. Water comes into play on a few holes and there are strategically placed bunkers throughout. Its coastal location guarantees that wind will be a factor in determining your outcome. The signature hole comes exactly midway through the course. Royal Kunia Country Club's par-5 ninth requires three strong shots that avoid the numerous troubles from tee to green including bunkers, trees, water, and of course, wind.

OK course but don't rent the clubs
Rented my clubs and got some very old and very plain clubs. Certainly not worth the $50 I paid. They should only be worth $30 at best. I played another course 2 days prior and rented clubs and they were 1-2 years old and quality Taylormade Stealth clubs
Island Style!!
Great value vs. other island courses. Lee in the clubhouse provided kind, fast and efficient service knowing we wanted to tee off quickly at 3pm. Sam the starter and club rental provider was very encouraging. The course was not too bad overall but the greens were bumpy and erratic. Thanks for a great experience!!
Value for the money
Fairways were fairly Ok but the greens were too slow. Seemed to allow 5 sum play which delayed the process.
Pleasantly surprised
Not a bad hole or bad view on the course. Very interesting track. Play was a bit slow and greens were sanded and rough but playable. Would definitely play again. Enjoyable and scenic. And since up the side of the mountain a bit, 10-15 degrees cooler than down by beach. Nice!

Awesome view on almost every holes, that’s about it!
1. There’s no starter or marshals, only the guy that took your receipt and NOT very friendly, doesn’t look like he wants to be there.
2. Bathroom is nasty, needs deep cleaning and so outdated.
3. Wait 10-15 min on almost every hole. Too many many double, they need to learn group twosome with other twosome.
3. Fairway condition is not too bad, however the greens and bunkers are hard as a rock.
Overall, I’d pay to play here again if it’s under $40 NOT >$100
It is not worth expect wiew.
View is only great. Staff and facilities are not good.
It doesn’t worth for the green fee.
Very slow day
Well we quite after the fifth hole because it had taken us 2 hours. The course was beautiful but we didn’t have the patience to wait 10-15min each hole just to tee off.
Pace of Play
we had a party of five with elderly men and they were playing from white tees and couldn't make it much past gold. it put us very behind and we would have 3 teams backed up at par 3s. we finally skipped a hole and finished in 5 hours.
