Great day to play this course! Views are ok, unlike Royal Hawaiian. Photo submitted by demantony on 02/01/2020

Love this hole!! Photo submitted by mk8q16ophx7466848 on 12/03/2018
Not what I expected
Pace of play is awful, course Marshall doesn’t help address. Group in front of us, hit multiple tee shots on every hole and never racked bunkers. Rental clubs are $75 a set and are 5 year old clubs. Driving range, you hit of mats. Proshop staff friendly and they did have nice proshop!
Great course. Even greater staff.
I did not predict rain... but it rained... a lot. Despite the weather I had a blast thanks to the staff at this course. Super friendly and accomodating. I stopped after the first 9 because I was drenched. Ate breakfast. Then played the back 9 after the weather appeared to clear up a bit. Everyone from the staff in the pro shop, the restaurant, and definitely the cart barn and starter were fantastic.
Super friendly and accomodating. Really incredible experience. Highly recommended. Many golf options on Oahu but I will be coming back to play this one again. Oh, and the golf course is gorgeous!
Nice Course
On vacation and wanted to get out and play a round. Staff was easy to get talk to and the course didn’t disappoint. I would play again!
Excellent Tournament Course
Came out on vacation a couple weeks ago. I regularly play a TPC course in my hometown and Kapolei was very comparable in difficulty and quality. Only complaint would be that none of the food offered at the snack bar was in stock. We played in the afternoon but the course was pretty empty, so it was weird they had no food. Empty course was awesome though, we played as a twosome and took our time enjoying each shot. Chipped in from about 20 yards on 14, a moment I’ll remember for a long time. Greens are immaculate, with truly deadly false fronts. The type of course to eat your lunch and have you convinced you can take 10 strokes off the next time you play. Highly recommend this course, maybe just grab some lunch before your round.
Plan ahead!
3pm tee time plan to play slow pace with parents and kids on course which I love seeing and have done myself. Made the turn and snack shack was closed!!! That’s was a bummer! But, all in all great place to play I will be playing it in years to come!! Go RAINBOW WARRIORS!!!
Kapolie GC is a MUST play in Hawaii!
If you want to play an amazing track in Hawaii play here! For decades I have been coming here and it is always amazing! Nice people, fairways look like carpets, greens are always in great shape, range, warm up area, sick merch! A+ always!
Great course, awful range
You offload your clubs and have your cart , but then must be shuttled over to a mats only driving range. You walk back to your cart and then could’ not get to the putting green..
The course however, was in perfect shape and a joy to play.
Best course in oahu
I have played ko olina, ewa beach, turtle bay. This is the best by a significant margin.
Great condition. Better than some other courses that charge more. Pace aas a little draggy considering i aaw mostly twosomes. Not terrible though. Great views, tough test even from forward tees
Kapolei did not disappoint!
This was my first time playing this course and I LOVED IT! The staff was very nice and helpful. The course was in fantastic condition. The greens were also excellent! Would recommend this course to everyone and if I ever get back to the island, I'll play here again.
A Nice Course
The course is very nice and well groomed. Lots of sand and a fair amount of water.
Very enjoyable started on the back nine but that kept waiting down to a minimum
Friendly staff great course great greens good golf carts and all that while playing in the rain
Nicely maintained course but slow play
We played this course on a Sunday afternoon. The course is in really good condition. The greens were great, and the tee boxes and fairways were also in super condition. My main complaint is that we teed off at 1:30 pm and scarcely had enough time to complete our round. The pace of play was moderately slow and at the turn, there was a 15 minute backup. I guess some players got lunch and the course made no attempt to keep things moving. No marshals or rangers. And then we got twenty messages that the carts had to be in by 6:00 even though it would not be dark until 6:20. The course needs to either marshal slow play and/or just let players play until darkness sets in.
