Nice casual course
This is a great place to play for the casual golfer on a budget. Whether you are a terrible golfer or a great golfer anyone can play here and not feel intimidated by the rich country club feel of other courses.
In good shape so far this year
fair course but, would like one more par 4 in place of a par 3
improved
Course is looking great under new management. Definitely will be back soon.
First time out
The 9 hole course was surprisingly in decent shape for early in the season. The only thing was they didn't really know how to do the golf now app. I believe I paid for a cart on top of my fees, but that it was supposed to be included. I will have to be more diligent checking my receipt vector time. An honest mistake. They are very friendly people
horrible condition, not maintained, staff with no clue
the course is in bad need of maitaniance.the pro shop person had very little knowledge of the facility,or any kind of golf knowledge.first cart we got had bolts missing that we noticed after we started driving,my son almost was tossed from cart due the loose seats caused by lack of bolts to hold seats in place.overall the operaters of this course should be embarresed!!!!!!
Don't ever play this place
This is honestly the worst golf course I have ever player. Where do I begin. First off it took my dad and I 2 and a half hours to play 8 holes. Yes we played 8 holes. We skipped a group on 7 and played 8 and 9 in about 15 minutes. If we stuck behind these clowns in front of us it would have been a post 3 hour nine holes with a 3:03 tee time. That is also with another foursome in front of us leaving after five and us joining two nine year old kids. The course is non maintained at all. Greens are awful, fairways are awful, tee boxes are awful. Pro shop is clueless about pace of play. We had a tee time and they let the two nine year olds tee off before us even though they were walk ups and we had a tee time. Postponed our tee time about 5 minutes. Just atrocious. Never play this course. Aside from the island green this course is worse than Goodwin Park. This course should be leveled and made into houses ASAP.
Decent course but restaurant went downhill
This course is what it is. An average, mediocre 9 hole layout at a fair price. The best holes are the first and the par 3 8th hole which is an exciting island green. The course was maintained and in decent shape. Unfortunately what was one of the best things about the course, their restaurant, was an embarrassment. Still displayed a full menu but told us all they had was pizza and pasta due to lack of food delivery. They did not even have the Golf Channel on the televisions.
Aweful course
Bridge on 9 ready to cave in. Workers driving around you as you are trying to play . Can't tell fairway to rough do to poor maintenance. You also have to drive down sidewalk of neigbor hood to get to holes with little direction on where to go.Overall HORRIBLE course never be back.
Great course, friendly staff.
Overall great experience, we will book Minnechaug again through GolfNow.
poor course condition
Course is not in very good condition. Greens were very slow and did not roll well.
poor shape
The course was in very poor shape, and there was no help from the staff to keep play moving. A great place for beginner's, to play!
Slow & nothing special
Tee boxes in rough shape. Pace of. Play too slow for this type of course. No Marshall's or rangers.
Nice course, needs better maintaining and course attention
Nice overall course layout with a challenging nine holes. I have worked and maintained golf courses in the past and this course could be a great course with a bit more attention to mowing and general appearance of the course. I saw a lot of ropes down, 150 markers out, uncut tee boxes, dried out tee boxes, divots not being filled on par three tee boxes, downed trees from previous storms, cart path pot holes, empty water coolers, unkept bunkers and just general appearnce stuff that you would not expect to see on a July 4th holiday weekend. Not sure what is going on but a little bit of attention to detail would greatly improve the appearance of this course.
Green were bad
Not a bad course needs to be better maintain a lot of trees broken by Lightning Laying on the course
Beautiful little jewel of a course!
The course could have used some grooming as the roughs were pretty tall. The greens were good and the fairways just fine. Gourgeous 8th hole! The ninth hole featured several duck families with ducklings and unfortunetly a lot of duck droppings. The hole was still very pretty and playable.
All in all we really enjoyed the course (and staff :-) and will be back again and again.
We have played this course several times very enjoyable to play like the island green on the 8th hole. worth the money

Best course so far
Easily the best course I've played this year. Staff engaging. greens firm but actually green, fairways cut. The only thing this course needed was some irrigation and the sprinkler system was being brought on line as I was playing. 4/30/13 was the first day the water was turned on on the course. After several days of use this should easily be the best tract in this part of the state.
Great place for a quick round
I play often in season, it's usually quick and a great training course with some difficult shots.
Good course for the money
Course requires some attention, alot of trees are snapped in half the greens are covered in debris. It would be nice to see a little bit more attention
Fun, well paced with challenges
Short but tight course . Fun and well worth the price. Not crowded for a quick 9 holes. Needs some tender care but playable winter rules
