Great course
I have only been playing golf now going on my 3rd year and I have played in Myrtle Beach on about 5 courses and 4 in CT & I want to say that playing 9 holes here has been as good as some of those others that I played. Just learn but I would recommend to everyone to play here as it is challenging and a beautiful course
.I will playing here again soon
Can't miss
Staff is friendly, they allow me to take my 2 year old on the course which is awesome as it allows my son to get involved in the game and allows me to play. Greens are very good, fairways need a little love but very playable.
Minnechaug in April
Given the rain of the day before, melting snow and general rough winter, we weren't expecting mcuh...we were pleasantly surprised. Course was in good condition, very little muck/mud, and the fairways were in far better shape than they had a right to be given the recent weather. The club pro and his staff were exceptionally friendly and courteaous, and we wil be back.
Joe
Always a pleasant corse.
I really like this corse. It is a challenging ,fun, thrilling nine hole corse. The food I'm the club house is always great.
Great course and condition. Wonderful value
Very helpful and friendly staff. Loved the course only wish it was closer to our home in Deep River, but we will definitely be back!
Best Value and condtions Just a fun round !!
Great to see the course is really getting attention, Despite the drought greens are green, fairways are in great shape...there is some hardpan but where it is located you shouldn't be there anyway. Greens putt true to what you read
The staff is very friendly the food is great ...try the pizza.
Condition gets better ever nine I play.
Not my first time
Minnechaug is a great course to hit up after work. You can play at a pretty decent pace and the course is pretty darn fun to play. Unfortunately for the course it's been very dry recently so everything was dry and fast. The greens were hard and fast so sticking to them meant having a shot dropping in from way up. Hopefully they get some rain soon and it softens everything up.
chilly morning and scores
Started early n got done early so there was no rush and it wasnt too busy either. Fall is here you can tell by the scores. Lol
Fun course with great staff!
Nice course situated on Glastonbury/Manchester border. Courteous staff run a nicely set up course. Greens and fairways are in decent condition. Paired up with reasonable prices (especially with discounts), makes for a pleasurable 9 hole round of golf.
Minnechaug
Greens and tee boxes were pretty beat up/ burnt. Facilities were clean and modern, food in the clubhouse after was pretty good too.
Good course for a quick 9
This course is good for those who can get out during the day and want to golf. Conditions overall are good.
Nice day
9 Holes was a good day would go back another day its a nice little corse
July 2014
The course was in really nice shape, more so then it has been in the past. The parts that were looking a little ragged last year were much better managed and overall it was just a better round of golf. I will go back to play more this year!
Nice course
Greens and green approaches in excellent shape. Some moderate challanges keep it interesting.
Fun 9-holer
Greens & fairways in nice shape. Pace of play was
excellent. A lot of drivers & wedges.
Very good value
Very good 9 hole course. Pretty shallow and challenging. The value for the rate paid was pretty much unmatched for the region. Absolutely worth trying out.
Took over 3 hours to play 9 holes
Our threesome had an early afternoon tee time, but when we arrived we were told they were "running late". We finally teed off 50 minutes late, waited at every hole, and there was even a group of 6 playing behind us. And if you are walking be advised there is about a 10 minute walk between hole 7 & 8, and 8 & 9. Management is totally clueless about time management and obviously overbooked to make $. My first and last time playing there.
Fun small course
Nice small course. Convenient to Glastonbury. Friendly staff. Pretty surroundings. Not overly challenging. Great place to sharpen up your game.
