Too Early Closing in the fall
Enjoyed my time at Minnechaug this season. Friendly staff and a decent place for a round of golf but,,,,,, way too early of a closing for the season . Still fall on December 5th 2022 and now closed for the season. Had planned on playing and had bought a season membership and feel like I got the rug pulled out from underneath me. I had been told that they would stay open as long as winter weather was not present. So here I am on December 5th and its going to be about 50 degrees and sunny and the course is closed. Fortunately other golf courses remain open so I will take this into consideration next year when its time to sign up for a membership :) for next season. I would call this quite a challenging course. Lots of trees and challenging holes. Lots of animals frequent the course. I have seen fox, deer , turtles and bear and Canadian geese. Cart path's definitely could use a great deal of work. Green's and fairways tend to be in good condition.
