About
Indian Springs Golf Club in Middlefield has been owned and operated by the same family since it first opened in 1964. With a terrain of rolling, tree-covered hills, the course is as scenic as it is fun to play. The nine-hole layout is player friendly enough to appeal to players of all skill levels and there is an alternate set of tees to play an 18-hole round. Though many of the fairways are wide and forgiving, there are a few tricky blind shots that will test your accuracy. The par-5 second hole is one of the most memorable. It leads you uphill before plummeting downhill to a green protected by three sand traps. Indian Springs Golf Club's second par 5, the tree-lined fifth hole, is also notably tricky. The fairway edges along mature forests, leading to a sharp dogleg right downhill to the green, which is surrounded by trees.

Not a great course
The holes are on top of each other. We hit into other groups on same hole or different hole, and others hit into us. Someone played an April fools joke and switch the color flag. Most holes were mislabeled. Blue is in the back and red in the front. Not the courses fault but a really slow group of seniors caused us to play 9 holes in 3 hours. I missed an appt because this group had no concept that the farthest person hits the ball. They were playing each put until the player finished all their puts before another person went. The staff was super friendly. Again the slow pace of play is not their fault.

Hidden Gem!
I’m afraid to review this and have the course get too crowded! I play this course with my two adult sons and it is reasonably priced, always in the best possible shape, and moves quickly. The owners of this course could not be more accommodating and friendly. Well stocked shop which is also reasonably priced, so if you need a glove, hat, extra balls, you are not paying outrageous prices you see in other pro shops. (It was chillier than expected and I bought a great winter hat for $20!). This great attitude extends to players in the course who are considerate and helpful to the other golfers.
Challenging layout, especially from the back. If you think you are going to show up and go low your first time, I would bet against that.
Great bar with outdoor wrap around deck overlooking the 9th green. Newly remodeled restaurant with exceptional menu for a golf facility.
It’s always nice to have a range and hit a few balls while waiting for your group to show. Pay with a card at the machine, no tokens or need to go to pro shop. Park at the far end of the parking lot and get a small bucket. Cheap and convenient!
I love this place. Please don’t tell everyone you know to come here!!

More Than Playable in Late Fall
—Nothing all that new to add to my last review of September 3rd. As for course conditions today, they were relatively good for late fall, with very good greens and greenside areas, decent fairways, and good tees. Service was excellent at the front desk–very polite, friendly, and attentive.

Outstanding 9 hole golf course
A very challenging 9 hole golf course that’s well maintained. Beautiful hilltop views.

Very nice course,well maintained. Could use a ranger to speed things up a bit. Staff is friendly and professional and the clubhouse is really nice. I always enjoy playing here.
