Chris Bargas Golf Club at Whitney Farms

Whitney Farms is a well maintained course. The things to keep in mind about it are:

1. Many holes require very targeted tee shots

2. The greens have many undulations, approach shots can be hard to hold, and incur serious breaks when putting.

1st time on tis course, relatively new golfer. Had a great time and the course was challenging for me I would definitely go back again

I love this course, still charging summer rates is the only down fall, greens aren’t perfect this time of year but they are trying to keep up with them

As we approached our putts on the 9th hole, we look over on 10 tee to see 8 guys standing on the tee, which were not on the front. Turns out it was a Thursday league that gets sent off the back while Still having regular tee times out on the course. If you like playing 5.5 hr rounds, Whitney Farms is the course for you! Nice bunkers though

Course is in good shape. Greens a little inconsistent speeds. Fairways are tight. Greens are difficult. Very difficult course for beginner golfers and average golfers.

All around an excellent course. Will definitely play again.

When I totaled up my putts for my round I could not believe it..... 25!!!! WOW!!!! The greens were running beautiful. The course is tough & tight at times, 6th hole par 5 is not ‘’my”’ friend.! Head pro Billy is a very accommodating. We were a twosome & he sent us out before a foursome. Starting on the 2nd. Thank you Billy! We never saw anyone until the 7th. Conditions were great... greens fantastic... unfortunately the rest of my game didn’t match up to my putting. Despite that, Whitney is always a pleasure to play. I highly recommend this course, although challenging, it’s always a come home course to me.

An exceptionally well run public track. In very good shape. Friendly staff. A nice restaurant. Only downside is that the driving range is a little short. As we played the 17th green 5 balls from the range landed on the green. Sine there was only one guy on the range we kind of knew who was hitting it over the fence. Terrible swing but hit it a long way when he connected. Kind of dangerous.

Whitney Farms was very enjoyable and offered a moderately challenging round of play. Pace of play was decent and was able to maintain a fairly steady speed to the round for the group of 2 we had. Only thing I would have to comment on was the location and condition of the white tee boxes. They seemed farther back than usual and it looked like there may have been an event or tournament a few days prior, as there seemed to be some heavy play off the area.

First time playing here. It's very well organized. Excellent condition. Nice staff 3 hours 45minutes to play 18. Highly recommend it. Only drawback, Porto potties on the course, except for the clubhouse.

Might have been a nicer review if the dozen of EMPTY WATER CONTAINERS had any water in them on this hot , humid day. How unbelievably negligible and dangerous.

We did buy three dollar waters on the turn that didn't last long, Maybe that was your plan?

You better hope no one dies or sues!
