Oak Hills Park Golf Course

This is a very nice course. Alex at the bag drop was pleasant and friendly and always has been. This being my 4th time playing here. The starter who should be working in a Motor Vehicle department position where people expect that type of attitude. He only wanted to read me the riot act of course rules. Did he realize we were paying customers? Then he says watch for cartpath only holes their are a few on the GPS .the cart will not go on the fairways. I had an 84 year old friend who struggled with only 2 holes out of 18 that were not cartpath!! To top it off.The course was as dry as a bone.. I couldn't find one hole that had any wet areas period!! I'll skip place. We played with 2 nice guys who were used to the course. Nice course with a starter that doesn't belong. 2nd or 3rd time he acted like that. So I know it's a regular thing

Course is a little quirky in the layout but fun to play. Greens are smooth, roll true and good speed. The restaurant staff was friendly, pizza was good and prices reasonable.

Course was nice, greens great. Unfortunately pace of place terribly slow for teeing off at 8:20 in the morning on a Thursday and no rangers helping with pace.

The greens have decent roll and pace. The layout is…..eh. Course is very short. Bunkers are borderline unplayable with the lack of any actual sand. Great value for the price, of course

I’m a local resident who several years ago stopped going to Oak Hills. Grumpy starters, poor conditions, pace of play among my reasons. But yesterday I decided to give it another shot. I was pleasantly surprised at the improvements that have been made and are being made. Super friendly staff, greens and fairways in great shape. Updated carts (though they haven’t put out the club robots this year), and a great pace on a fairly busy day. Looks like they’re improving cart paths which remains a big need. All in all, worth sticking around town! Or coming to Norwalk to give it a try.

Golf course is in fantastic shape. The greens are superbly maintained. Would love to get a cup of coffee and a bite in the morning but restaurant is always closed. Extremely poorly run business.

Putting Greens have always been very good. Faster than most courses that I've played. Once you get used to the speed they are enjoyable.

Excellent greens for a busy public track. Nobody fixes ball marks though so fix yours and 8 or 9 others. Friendly staff. Front nine is tricky and fairly short. Back nine opens up. Pace of play is pretty good but understand you encounter players of all abilities. Nice restaurant.

I live one town over and prior to COVID, we had obtained a non-resident permit to play the course. Since then we’ve not had an opportunity to play the course until this past week. The course is in great shape, greens are fast as always and the course is well maintained. It’s a great neighborhood course and I will playing it more this golf season.

A very pretty course with a great layout. The staff was on point, specifically Brian who was checking in on every group ensuring pace of play was right and that everyone was doing well. Truly enjoyed my round
