17th green needs major work
Full price for damaged greens
As usual the management GREED over shadows the quality of play at this public course.
Pace of play is a mind numbing experience, greens are damaged and are in worst shape I’ve seen in years. Yet FULL price.
The grounds keeper turns on sprinklers from home with no regard to players on the green or not.
Restaurant has good food.
Scarified greens
The employees were nice and friendly. I have played the course many times and usually like the greens as they are typically smooth and fast. Right now some greens have been scarified with the debris left behind. The untouched greens were inconsistent in speed. Sometimes pace of play is slow but we finished in 4 hrs but could have played faster. Some tees were barren and devoid of grass. All in all there are better alternatives
Right now and I'll try norwich again next year.
Mixed reviews
Course has some issues. Greens are less than fair. Lots of play. Fairways are OK. Tee Boxes OK. Layout is good. It was slow on my day. Make sure you get a deal playing here for now. A bit of a fix up and could be great.
Mikes review
I have played this course many times in past and always enjoyed my round. Yesterday was first time playing in about a year. Pace of play was so slow that we quit after the 11th hole as we had been on the course 31/2 hours at that point.
Also some of the tee areas could use work, greens also.
Interesting side note, played with 2 members and twice one of them had a long put and he chipped on the green and yes, a divot.
It's a golf course that anyone can enjoy.
There are still some hall under construction though Still, it is a golf course that you can enjoy playing.
An Average Course with SLOW Play
Played 9 holes at 5:30 pm. The pace of play was horrific. We waited on every tee and most of the time, the group in front of us were still waiting to tee off. To add to the misery, we were charged $45 for the pleasure. It wasn't worth it. I won't be back.
