Had a great time today. Lightning struck and horns were sound. Had to depart and having paid via golf now, I couldn't recoup the last 2 holes, nor last 9, and no other services were given. Love the course though.

Great course!

I had a great time on the course, even though my score card didn't reflect it haha.

My only complaint would be the high yellow grass too thick to play from and there's a ton of it.

The layout

I was overly impressed with the front nine. Not saying the back was not as challengeing but it was more back and forth than the front. Had a great time with three other golfers that I have never played with before. I will return soon.

Amazing Value!!

Wow, what can I say!! I drove 2 hours from Stamdford, CT and hoped it would be all the pictures were cracked up to be, and it was. The course was in outstanding condition, the greens were a bit fast and made them somewhat challenging. A lot of the holes look daunting, but in reality they are not all that bad!! But still, present a solid challenge from the blues, and if you really wanna push your luck, play from the tips...yikes!

After our round, I had an incredible short rib wrap for lunch. Man, my mouth is still watering!

I don't wanna tell you about this place, b/c I don't want to jack up the pace of play!

Great Course

First time playing CT national. Course has a great layout, In excellent condition, Fairways were very good, rough in good condition. Bunkers could use a bit of work around edges, otherwise good. Greens are challenging, feature quite a bit of undulation, fast! Pace of play was surprisingly good for a Sunday 2 PM tee time, played in 4:15. Recommended!

One nit - cart paths are in very rough shape, gravel/dirt in lot of locations kicked up a lot of dust with carts.

Fairways and greens are good,, the course is always nice. Busy with golfers keeping their distance, some waiting as groups spent time looking for balls.
