Ridgefield Golf Course

It was wet and rainy on Thursday Morning. the Weather forecast was a bit off that day. We tried to call Golf Now that Morning to Cancel being that play was going to be suspended. Waited on hold for over 20 minutes without anyone picking up phone. not knowing if I would be refunded we stayed and then played though difficult conditions. Called GN on following day to advise and all that was done was a confirmation of us playing that day.

I had no complaint about the course, my complaint was that GN didn't answer my call that morning. I was told by the representative that they would be in touch about this situation. I don't expect to hear from GN.

Ridgefield is an interesting course.It's not long from the whites, but there are numerous difficult holes and challenging greens on most holes.

The pace was so slow that we skipped a hole to bypass a slow foursome… still took us 5 hours for 17 holes. No ranger in site all day. When we finished 18, the foursome we by-passed was 2 holes behind.

Lack of rain has definitely taken its toll. Greens were a bit bouncy.

Course is still in great shape. A lot of dry areas but fairways are still beautiful and the greens are flawless. Looking forward to coming back in the fall.

They put money into the course and they did a real nice job. We cart paths, fixed sand traps, greens were in great shape. Restaurant is also very good, nice views off the back deck and cold beer. Only negative, they were very serious about getting carts back by 7:45pm, a little odd.

Fun course. Everything was in good condition. We rode but looks like it would be a tough course to walk.
