Crestbrook Park Golf Course

Challenging and interesting course. Greens and fairways in good shape, but tee boxes are rough. Would recommend playing largely because of value.

The day we played, the course was not crowded, the staff was genuinely friendly and the people on the course were as nice as could be. I've always enjoyed playing this course, somehow this course usually has players who actually know to let a twosome play through.

Course was in good shape but a little wet. Bunkers could use some work but other than that we got what we expected. Restaurant was closed which was a disappointment but it was a holiday.

Crestbrook is one the better municipal golf courses in the Waterbury area. The front 9 has some very unique holes that I like. The back nine seems a bit longer and challenging. The fairways, greens and rough are in super condition. My only negative comment is about the tee boxes. The grass on the tee boxes is thick and is a bit tall. Some of the par 3 tee boxes are beat up.

Have played here a few times and generally enjoy the 45 minute ride. Bunkers were quite rough and appear to not have gotten much attention recently. Otherwise greens looked nice but a bit slow. Challenging pin placement and zero flat putts so that was fun.

The course wasn’t mowed the day we played. Probably because of rain the day before. But it appeared not to have been mowed for several days. Greens were slowest I’ve played this year and tees were awful. Traps were unplayable.

Course was in great shape for may. Layout was fun, challenging, a little soggy in spots but it’s rained a lot. Only critique is that some holes in the back have a tough pitch on them that punish drives that are hit down the middle. Other than that, quite good. I’ll play again

Nice course but would be much nicer if they have cart girl to sale beverages.

People there play too slow for a foursome

Foursome let one White man single player through and I catch up with them on the third holes but they wouldn’t let through as I’m Asian single player. I was stuck behind them until finished 18 holes.

The course was in good condition. It rained heavy the night before I played so it was wet in spots but seemed to drain well. The greens were very solid. Surprisingly slow for how they looked. The layout was fun and pace was great. Will play again.

Well kept course. Bunkers were a little hard, but after 2 days if rain the corse was overall dry compared to most.
