Windham Golf Course

They've done a great job on this course. The two new holes are pretty short, and pale in comparison to the original ones lost to the driving range. The main problem is that there was absolutely no drinking water on the course!!!! C'mon Windham, do better.

It was my first time playing here probably since the late 90’s when it was still private. I know it’s gone thru ups and downs. Mostly downs, but it’s definitely BACK! I had an amazing time, the greens were in great condition and so were the fairways. The back nine and the new holes back there were awesome. I’d put that back nine up against any in eastern Connecticut. I will be back, and frequently.

not a fan of electric carts inability to travel 'off piste' (in the minority, i know).

I thought the course itself was in good shape . I like the new holes they put in , there weren’t there when I play there last time. The people at the club house were really friendly. I thought the roughs were a little thick but over all I enjoy it.

Course was in great condition but they really need to cut the rough. This is not an Open, for pace of play alone cut shorter than ball height. It’s almost impossible to find any balls not in the fairway. Every hole the group needs to spend way more time finding balls than necessary. Like 2 feet off the fairway and the ball is completely buried and nearly invisible.

The course has come a long way and looks and plays great!

We booked for 47.50 a person with cart. We had screen shots of the price. Charged 72 per golfer to play in wet conditions. The lady at the counter was less than accommodating. I won’t play here again. Don’t put a price on golfnow and then change it when we get there. Bait and switch.

Nice fun course! Easily walkable only a few uphills, updated golf carts if you need them. Great prices, greens are very good and even firm for so early in the season. Good driving range, putting green, and chipping and bunker practice areas.

Will be back many times this year!

They have made some good improvements, but as a single, I got placed behind a five-some with foursome in front of them. Incredibly slow play for a Monday + the cart got stuck between 10/11. Had to walk off and abandon the round. Not a good experience. For $55 on a Monday, you can do much better somewhere else.

Course is aesthetically appealing. Nice fairways and tees, but greens are another story.

You dont want to putt from above the hole on any green, as they are so fast the ball will roll off the green. Many of the greens are mounded which is ok, but landing a pitch can easily result in a runoff.

I would rate the course much higher if they let the greens get a little "fuzzier" or have taller grass. Then putting would not be such a challenge, and sometimes impossible for scoring.

Overall, I wont play the course again, unless the greens have better surfacing. If improved, I'd play weekly.
