Tradition Golf Club at Oak Lane

Played this morning as a single, was paired with a nice group and we all loved the course, staff and food after. They told me they are doing all the bunkers over and will have them all done over the next 2-3 years. I hit it in the new ones and they are perfect! I love this place every time I go. They actually take pace seriously and it shows!

Beware: Some of the other reviews are saying the staff are rude and combative. That’s exactly what we experienced. Been golfing here for 6+ years at 30+ times per year, was never like this until COVID. Now they get a little busy and treat the customers like they don’t matter. Staff was rude right from the beginning and then became confrontational. Then they followed it up with a pace of play alert on the first tee box.

Course was in OK shape. Bunkers have been terrible since this new management took over with tons of rocks and no sand. Not worth the money not worth their attitude. No one in my golfing circle will be coming back.

Too many holes with blind shots. If you shoot in the 70’s or low 80’s you would probably like this coarse.

Tough par 5 to start the round, but overall enjoyed the course, it’s condition, and lay-out.

Pace of play was on the slow side.

We played on Sunday 4/18 and enjoyed a great pace, course conditions and the staff was so nice and welcoming. Even booked a time for next week!

This course, although playable, needs serious bunker work and greens being aerated really make fir an unpleasant experience. Also, absolutely nowhere to eat, snack or have a drink of any kind.

Recently aerated, top dressing has washed out due to the recent rain. Half of the bunkers are ground under repair. Starter children were dismissive, could we at least pretend this is a golf course. Cart girl was friendly! She gets five stars.

Greens were punched and Golfnow did make me aware prior to booking. Foursome in front of my group extremely slow. They were a full hole behind the group in front of them. No ranger on the course to police slow play. Still completed round in 4 and a half hours.
