About
Tradition Golf Club at Oak Lane is situated in the quiet town of Woodbridge, just 20 minutes from New Haven. Formerly known as Oak Lane County Club, the course was both renamed and renovated when it was acquired by the management team at The Tradition Golf Club at Wallingford. Many of the holes were updated but the golf course retained its challenging but playable nature. Though the course is player friendly enough to appeal to players of all skill levels, there are still several challenges in store. Numerous strategically placed bunkers lurk along the greens and towering trees also frame most of the holes. The holes are mostly straightforward with a few tricky doglegs to keep you on your toes. You'll also be confronted with the occasional water hole. Both your accuracy and short-game skills will be tested at Tradition Golf Club at Oak Lane.

They make you play in
Rain lighting money hungry course giving no rain check
Enjoy playing First hole very challenging but fair
I play or try to play every Thursday. Enjoy the variety of hole though I must say the 18th is almost impossible to par for a 74 year old even from the senior tees.
Great condition, perfect challenges
This course was great! It had just the right amount of challenges but not too difficult that it was defeating, but enough that made the game interesting. The course was in great shape, and has a very open landscape making each hole pretty forgiving for those who don't necessarily shoot straight into the fairway ;) overall I would recommend to anyone especially when it is reasonably priced too!
Rough time
Pace of play was excruciating slow. Saw numerous rangers out but none seemed to Carr about how four groups were stuck behind a threesome for almost 16 holes.
Good value for the money.
Course was in really good shape. The staff is really friendly. The layout is a little quirky, but a good value return for the $$$. In the future, It might help if they offer a free beer to everyone who attends an instructional class to teach them how to fix their ball marks on the greens.

Its a great course only knock against it was not a fan of paying $70 other then that it was great!
