Delcastle Golf Course

The layout was great. Staff was very friendly and it wasn’t too expensive. However, greens were a bit sandy and slow. Also, bunkers were terrible. Obvious that no money is put into the bunkers. Overall, a good course.

We were in the area for a wedding and managed to get 18 in Saturday morning. If I lived closer I would definitely play here regularly.

There was a wonderful lady doing the beer/food cart driving around the course who was super nice and helpful. Made the experience that much better.

As always, the course was in excellent condition but the greens were a little inconsistent for speed, and oftentimes it seemed like the putts rolled out faster uphill than down. Go figure.

With very little wind, as long as you can hit it straight the course if a fabulous test of golf without being impossible for average players. Strong winds can produce lots of loss balls in thick fescue and other native high grasses, so pick your day carefully.

My only complaint this day was slow play due to a "tournament" of willing amateurs in foursome playing slow so lots of waiting. Still, beats a standard muni for weekends.

Very much worth the money.

Haven't played the course in three years, looking forward to playing the course again.

90+ degree day and there was no drinking water on the course(still due to COVID?) and no beverage cart. If this is the case , officials should allow you to bring a small cooler with beverages.

Some of the bunkers around the course need to be cleaned up. Weeds growing out of the sand

For the price you cant beat this course, I always enjoy Delcastle.
