First time this year
In nice shape for time of year and the fact they get a lot of play on the weekends.
Fairways and greens were firm and fast. Got a lot of bounce and roll today. Kudos for every bunker I saw was tended to. Rough a little long in spots, but very open and very playable. +6300 yards from white tees, +5300 yards from next tee up. Recommend and will return again this season.
Great course
Great course great staff. Pace of play was average on the front 9 however the ranger did ask us if it the group in front were too slow. We said it was fine. The back 9, things got slower towards the last holes. It didn’t ruin the day at all though.

Walking only
I drove 30 minutes to be told that it was walking only. This was at 11am. They had all morning to email or phone me. They didn't. Very inconsiderate.

Roughest I’ve seen this course in a while
Delcastle has always been a course I enjoy. Not sure if it’s just early in the season or what, but greens weren’t grown in yet, still sand from off season rolling and we’re rock hard, fairways grass was longer than what you would typically expect. Conditions very firm so balls rolled out well. And they are putting new sand in the traps. So it does seem like they’re slowly working on it, but hoping it gets better for the rest of the season.
Very playable course
This is a course you can walk if desired and it does not require super accuracy. Has interesting holes and can play fast..
Overall I thought the course is in fair condition for the end of March; I expect the conditions to improve as the weather improves. Regarding pricing, I’ve always thought this course charges to much compared to other local courses of similar conditions. Re

Enjoyed the course layout. Staff was considerate and helpful. Will go back.

Not everyone wants to be charged the cart fee when you walk.
Always a pleasure to play Delcastle.
Course needs work
Fairways and greens not bad. Everything else not so much..Would not recommend this course to anyone. Will not be back.
