Good course for the price
I like two of the par 3's from the white tees. Elevation hitting down to the greens with length. Most of the par 4's & 5's are straight holes. The 18th is difficult because the tee shot is up hill, the second & third shots are down then uphill depending on your length. The green is barely visible from the fairway. Tough to hold the green unless you come in with a high shot. You will enjoy the course.
October 17th and no leaves on the ground!
Made a tee time, then read the reviews as it's been a while since i last played there. I went with an open mind and must say I did enjoy the snot out of the course. I think some folks forget that these courses are public and not private and welcome all types of golfers even duffers like me. I'll be back hopefully soon..

Great shape considering it hasn't rained in weeks
I've played this course for over 2 decades. After they redid the irrigation it's been in better condition than ever. The greens this round were faster than usual and not rolling very true. Other than that, love the course as always!

Course has improved
Been a few years since I last played at Delcastle. The condition of the course was much better than when I last played it.

Delcastle decline
I have played Delcastle many, many times. I do not recall the course being in worse condition than it presently is. The Senior tees are awful, the greens are slow and bumpy, and the fairways don’t have a lot of grass.
LOVE THE NEW GOLF CARTS
Just got new golf carts - smooth ride and super comfortable seats. Staff is always accomodating and friendly and always enjoy the people my father and I get paired up with. People who play here are down to earth, good people out for a fun round - no over the top golf extremists here!

Bombs Away!
My drive is only 200-220 yards at the most so many of the holes here are just out of my range to make greens in regulation. I feel like I just hit driver then 3 wood all day. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the challenge once in a while. Most fairways are very wide and forgiving however they are not in the best shape. A lot of bare spots and mud and I noticed many old fairway bunkers from my app are now non-existent. Just let them grow over for whatever reason. Pretty much just flat and bombs away on most holes. A couple doglegs and a challenging par 3 here and there. After hammering the driver all day, the 18th par 5 is a fitting finish to the round. You’ll see what I mean when you see it. I’ll be back again next year

Could have have better service from the cart on the course. Only saw them once and didn’t come by again.

Course was nice, definitely some spots with with no grass, but really fun layout and would recommend

Don’t Bother
Dog track, save your money and go elsewhere. Tee boxes are average at best, fairways are spotty, bunkers are average, greens rolling slow and bumpy with crabgrass patches all throughout. It’s a crime they charge more than $30-$40 to play here.
