Reviews
Course OK, Staff is horrific
If you want to be lectured (4 to 5 minutes long) during the middle of your round, told to go to the driving range before coming back to the course, and if you are playing badly, you need to play badly quickly, then this is the course to go to (by the way, we were 10 -15 minutes behind the pace on the 9th tee). These are actual quotes that the starter said to my group as we came to the 9th tee. After two of the group struggled to hit their tee shots, he singled them out and said they should go to the driving range before coming back. One of those was my son who was having a fun day with his dad as this was his first time on a course after trying the golf range about 10 times. This "gentleman" tainted what was a great day for me and my son. And for what, a measley 10 minutes? He was so caught up in his lecture to speed up our play that he started to cause a delay. A simple request such as " hey guys, there is a full hole open in front of you, can you pick up the pace a bit" would have sent the same message. As it is, I will never go back to the course, which is a shame as it is not overly challenging for a beginner. Instead, I would strongly suggest that you visit Rock Manor, Deerfield, or Porky Olivers course.
Course conditions
Course was in great condition but was very disappointed that there was literally NO. DRINKING OR TOWEL WATER available anywhere in the course and it Was 90 degrees, 90% humidity, and NO wind!!
A lot of fun and done before 10 am
Tee time was 6:36. I was paired with a 30 something who could hit the green from 280 on one hole (so a lot longer than this 65 year old even playing from the forward tees). But it was fun! The only guy in front of us was a single, so we finished 18 in a little under 3 hours. Course conditions were good. It was surprisingly cool (low 60s when we started) for early June (I won't see those temps in Florida for months). The course has a lot of slope in the fairways, so it plays like a links course (which I love). Although, if you are trying to run the ball onto the green the approach paths are narrow. No real forced carries (again something I don't like since I'm not a long hitter on the fly). A couple of fun elevated tees (and a couple where you are hitting up some hills). Local knowledge on some of the doglegs is useful for picking a line, but, most of the shots are in front of you.
Average Value
The starter at this course must go, this man clearly HATES his job. Every time I see him, I regret booking at this place. Pro shop staff, bev cart, bar, and cart staff are always friendly. Course conditions: Greens were in surprisingly great shape! A lot of the tee boxes could use some love. Fairways were in pretty good condition. They’re also doing a great job at growing up areas of the course to make it more challenging. Back in the day you could literally hit the ball ANYWHERE and have a shot. That’s no longer the case.
Hi Bradley, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear you enjoyed our course conditions overall. Always on my course rotation
Been playing here for nearly 40 years. Best it's looked - mild, rainy weather has helped. Was 5th group out on a Sunday morning. Finished in 4 hours. Great time.

Good course for the money
Played on Friday afternoon.
It was very slow play. But for a spring round, the course was in pretty good shape.
