Nickol Knoll Golf Club
About
Ever since opening in the mid '90s, Arlington Heights Golf Club has been considered one of the best par-3 golf courses in Chicagoland. It is certainly one of the most unique with three holes that feature vertical-drop tee shots and two holes with uphill tee shots to the green. Although this nine-hole course is only 1,163 yards the large bentgrass tees and greens provide the feel of a full-length course. The layout has nearly 30 bunkers strategically placed throughout and water comes into play on two holes. From the elevated tees you can enjoy a panoramic view of the area, including stunning vistas of the Chicago skyline. Whether you're a beginner looking to get some practice or a scratch golfer who wants to get in a quick round, Arlington Heights Golf Club is a fun and challenging option.

Good value.
The wind was gusty and relentless. Course was in pretty good shape, but the greens were slow because of a fresh layer of sand.
Great course with great people
The staff is always friendly and this course is perfect for a beginner like me. It has helped my short game and putting immensely. I will continue to play here.
Great work out
I play here because of a number of factors:
The course is challenging enough to keep me coming back.
Every time that I have been paired with other players it has been a pleasant experience.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
See ya Monday...
Bear down on a great course
It’s bar far par 3 course in the area! It’s a wonderful little 9, no cart needed!
Great 9
It’s a great course to practice your irons and wedges. Good playing pace and very well kept!
Fun short / greens practice
We had never heard of this course, came in with low expectations, and loved it! Great conditions (especially for the cost), relatively quick play — not too crowded and we joined a single ahead of us, and tough enough greens to get some really helpful putting practice. Staff was lovely. Will definitely be back.
Par 3
Well-kept Park district par 3 course. Excellent value for the money with Payton's Hill included.
