Golfer Reviews
Avoid this course on weekends, weekdays are okay
Had a 1058 tee time and didn't finish until after 4pm. Chalet Hills is in very good shape, greens were excellent and the new management appears to be off to a good start. Problem is that high handicappers have no business playing this place and 5 hour rounds plus are routine. Course always slows down after the turn and you wait and wait for slow foursomes to splash multiple balls into water hazards (10 holes have water that is in play for them).
Course forced me to play many different shots
Chalet is always a challenge. I love having choices of what club to use and the risk reward factor is an option here. The course itself is beautiful with lots of different looks. The water is well placed and it goes well with the overall hilly style of the course. I really have no complaints about this place. Always a fun time!

This course
Is awesome nice and open but also challenging it was just nice all around will be back shortly
GOOD SHAPE
Considering the harsh winter Illinois experience, the course was in good shape.Alot of workers on the course shows that they are trying to bring it back up to a quality track. The fairways were above average, the traps need more attention and the greens were in good shape. All in all, I would recommend this course to anyone.
Great course for the $$$
Course conditions were phenomenal for this early in year. Best in this area. Play was slow, but I blame that on the beautiful day. Everyone was out playing! Great course. Will be back
Great Course !
Played in the Fall, Trees were stunning to look at, scenic views from atop the Hills. Challenging greens, for sure, but all in all a fair course to play.
Nice challenging course
The course has many tight driving holes. Also have a few holes with blind tee shots. I would say a good mixture of tough and easy holes. It rained for a couple of days before I played the course and the course was still in good condition.
Great challenge; back nine nonstop.
Good design. All you want-water, sand, hills, doglegs and greens surrounded by water. Nice double green on 9 & 18 with the holes playing around opposite sides of a large pond. Lack of GPS made first visit tough on water carries & layups.
Nice Course
Not a top notch course, but one worth playing. It has a little of everything from bunker lined fairways, water, and substantial rough. The course was in decent shape for a public course, nothing too special. Overall I would recommend.
Excellent, difficult course. It would have merited 5 stars except the greens were a little beat up and the sand traps were in poor condition.

Great course
For late summer course was in good shape. The greens were a bit chewed up, but all in all a good course. One suggestion. They need to mark the fairways better with yardages
great water holes
Starts out with three warm up holes and then bang, game on!! Plenty of water holes! The only complaint was no drinking water on the course.
Nice layout needs some repairs.
Great layout, back nine is tough and requires well placed tee shots. However, this course needs some work or money tossed at it to be above others. Some fairways have issues and way to many unfixed divots. My understanding is this is now bank owned and for sale at a great price...
What a great value
The course was in phenomenal condition, and played very difficult. At twilight we virtually had the course to ourselves. We very much enjoyed the experience, and will definitely be back again.
this course is fun to play. you get a variety type of holes, short par 4's some elevated tee shots
my wife & I always enjoy playing here. the staff treats you like a regular. friendly. the course was in great shape. even though I didn't shoot well I enjoyed playing this course. the elevated tees is fun and the par 3 on hole4 is nice. hole 5 is narrow & blind tee shotis is great course to play
Reminded me of Big Run in Lemont
Enjoyed course, got a birdie on 1st hole!. It was well-maintained and a great deal! $30 on golfnow.com
Chalet Hills Golf Course is Amazing
Chalet Hills Golf Course and its working folks are truly amazing. Tony the starter is a character. And everyone else was extremely helpful as well. The course is a great shape. Very challenging. This is a course to truly appreciate must play again. Thank You Chalet Hills for a fantastic experience.
challenging but fun
This course was challenging, you have to be a straight hitter as most holes have danger on both sides of the fairway. It requires the right club off the tee, not always a driver. Course was in good condition, but greens were a little slow. Overall well worth the money.
A superb track. A must visit.
This course far surpassed my expectations. It is very well maintained and has plenty of course character that would satisfy most everyone. I loved the fast greens that rolled true and accurately knowing that the result is all on you and not spotty greens. Definitely returning to this place. The only shortcoming I encountered was that the ballwashers needed attention. Some were dry or had no towel. Outside of that, it was well worth the drive.
