1st time on course
Overall, the course was great. The fairways were in great shape, the greens were well manicured, and it was a very good experience. The only issue was the Pace of Play. It was very slow. We were constantly waiting for the group in front of us, and the group behind was always on us. It made what should have been a great day, a good day.

Really great experience, highly recommend. Course in great shape and staff super friendly without rangers hounding you like at Stonewall Orchard (play here instead)

Very Slow, Be Prepared
I have played Chalet multiple times before. Staff is always friendly, course is quite hard but well-kept. In my last round, it took 5 hours to play 14 holes. I ended up leaving early as I didn't want to stay for another hour. There was no water out on the course, and the beverage cart went in at 3 PM. An unfortunately poor experience at a place I usually enjoy.

Tee box club selection is key to lower score.
Great track very well maintained. Selecting driver on several of the shorter par 4 holes is VERY risky. Better to select your longest iron and accept a likely bogey on short par 4's. Risk reward just not worth it. The short par 4's are tight fairways surrounded by trouble.

this is a beautiful course, in immaculate condition that really challenges you on every shot. A great staff, nice 19th hole bar. A beverage cart on the course would have been nice, but I did golf on a Tuesday so.....

Course conditions are in excellent shape ! Cart paths need a lot of work ! Management addresses that issue it could a top golf course in the Chicago area!
