challenging scenic course
The course was in great condition. We had a hot deal which made the value very fair. Normal cost is a little expensive. We will definitely play again!

Rangers??
The course is one of our favorites, but 5 1/2 hours to play is so wrong! The upgrades to the Rolls Royce of golf carts, and the course itself, will bring us back again! Come on guys, 5 1/2 hours is ridiculous without some order on the course! Waiting up to 30 minutes plus on the Par 3's and up to 15 minutes on every other hole is not what we consider fun. Don't get me wrong, we LOVE this course, but this experience was a downer from what we are use to.
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Pace of play worst I’ve seen
I’ll preface this with the fact this course layout, amenities, staff, and conditions were awesome!
However, the pace of play was absolutely abysmal. Took me over 6 1/2 hours for the round. Had several foursomes in front, which is fine, it happens. But the two foursomes in front of us, were very bad players and would take them no less than 5-10 shots to hit the green and the e rangers were not enforcing the pace and telling them to golf faster. It took me over an hour to get through the first three holes. The tee time behind us was over 50 mins later and caught up to us by hole 5.
I’m not sure they can control the level of golfer, but they could have pushed them further and advised to let smaller groups go ahead as the front group was the one holding 3 groups behind us back too.

Pace of play worst in Chicagoland
I will preface this comment with the fact the course is AWESOME. Staff was friendly and amenities were fine. The pace on the other hand, abysmal. Why isn’t a ranger vomited to pushing bad players along? There is zero reason you should allow back to back 4 somes witb 3 twosomes behind you. Especially, with incredibly bad players in front of you. Took 6 1/2 hours for a round is so bad. Mandy memory needs to change how they allow this to happen

Bad Day at Chalet Hills!
Tee time was 2:55. Got there and there were 3 foursomes waiting in line before us. We finally teed off at 3:36. Pace of play was not monitored/enforced. By 7 pm we had finished 12 holes !! After that we just left. I think if our tee time is suppose to be at 2:55, you should be able to finsih 18 holes, not 12! Course was in good shape and challenging, but also very frustrating due to delays. I feel I did not get my money's worth. Supposedly they had an outing going on, but thst's not a good excuse. And they had a teenage guy trying to handle all the complaints and adjustments that was just trying his best.

My son and I agree that this is a top 3 course for us to play Awesome layout and scenery. Tough too!

You need to have all of your game playing here. Easy to get into trouble as I found out. The coarse is very hilly as the name would indicate. Several tee shots you have to carry hazards 150 to some 200. My game wasn't on so everything seemed narrow. It was hard to score well, but well worth it. The coarse is beautiful. Loved playing it even though I did bad. Worth the drive.

A gem of a course
Great course layout with excellent conditions. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this course especially for $49.
Fairway, greens, and tee boxes were excellent conditions. Rough was so thick and challenging I recommend staying out of it.
The course layout, especially the back nine, was challenging with some very tight driving holes. Spraying the ball led to a number of lost balls. Need your A game for this place but I loved it and plan to return.
There was nice clubhouse with a bar. Pro shop staff were ok. Not rude but not overly friendly. I’d rate them as neutral.
