The course is sad and rundown. The cart path has many potholes so drive slow. Some of the greens are bald and some have weeds. It used to be such a nice course. What a shame.
Great layout
There are ups and downs to the course. The layout is amazing in my opinion and seems more challenging than it is. But there are many areas on the greens that need work(fungus/dead grass) and the cart paths need to be redone
Mill is always a pleasure
A nice variety of hole layout. Not one hole feels the same. Lots of woods and beautiful nature despite being in a neighborhood. Whoever created this course did a job well done.
Don’t waste your time, terrible course conditions.
Have not played here in 15+ years. Was highly disappointed.
Bar would not serve me a Tito’s lemonade, insisted that its course policy to not allow liquor, but would sell me a mixed lemonade vodka on a can? No thanks, why have a full bar then?
Our other cart geouo we got paired with at 9 was able to get a mixed drink no issue so I guess policies changed between 9:30a and 12:30p the same day.
Get there over an hour early and the range is closed. It’s a Saturday morning at 9:45. Okay cool, I get things break, but I think it was a staffing issue or someone was late. We did finally get the range open about 15-18 min before the tee time. Would think that a small bucket could be comped for all the inconveniences, was not even offered it. Balls were terrible, a mix of old range balls and just randoms. No consistency between them. Also mats only when the grass looked perfect and we have had no rain for a week or so.
Green speeds were inconsistent and in poor shape in some areas. Bunkers were just clay and rocks, no sand at all. Never saw a ranger even once. The group behind us hit my partner in the face with a golf ball and just turned around in their cart and left the area. I couldn’t believe what just happened. We were sitting at the next tee box, waiting to tee off. No FORE called or anything.
Overall don’t recommend. Go anywhere else and you will have a better time than this place.
Good layout
No access to drinking water on the course or in the clubhouse
Hidden Gem
This course has a great layout with really good pace of play each time I’ve played there. Tee boxes and greens in good condition - a couple unique , challenging holes there. Course may be kind of a hidden gem as I’ve never really seen it back up before; hopefully it stays that way.
Always love playing Mill!
Mill creek is always in phenomenal shape and the course layout makes it a fun challenge for all golfers.
