Surprisingly chill
This is the first time in years that the marshals stayed away from our group. No random chatter, no heavy-handed overseeing, & no lurking. That was great.
Hidden Gem
When i was 13 i took lessons here . Now im 27 and still come to this beautiful course . I've played at multiple private country club and i can say Glenwoodie golf course conditions are very close to those same conditions
Not passing up a 60 degree day in February
Weather was amazing for February, course conditions were what would be expected. Greens were slow and somewhat bumpy. The course was a little wet but surprisingly very playable.
what's the point of a ranger?
multiple 5 somes, groups driving aimlessly around fairways, no sense of pace of play whatsoever
weekend golfer
Price point for the weekend was a little more than I like but the course played nice. Greens were fast and cut. Fairways were in great shape and the staff was friendly. Overall I'll play it again.
Nice course, slow day
Extremely backed up with little control from the ranger to keep pace of play. They say a round of 18 should take 4 hours 20 minutes. That would have been nice, the delays put us at over 5 hours. It was on the 11th hole when the ranger decided to show up and follow my group, we were two paired with another twosome. Ranger asked us to hurry up. We had been the last group all morning long running into the back of the 3 groups of foursomes ahead of us. They had a golf outing in the afternoon which took their attention away from keeping the pace...? Nice course, kind of annoying behavior from rangers.
Very nice course
Friendly atmosphere, good pace of play, great price and the layout and condition were on point. Some of the traps were in rough shape but fun place to play overall.
Nice course
I have played this course before and enjoy the layout. Lots of hills on the back with fun shots.
I would have had a great time but my tee time was 20 min after a small outing. I was not told about until i teed off. So pace of play was a joke about 5 hours on a 94F day. The outting played there own ball too not beat ball so very slow.
The course should not have booked tee times so close to an outing so I ask before I book there again
