What Happened to Glenwoodie?
I play Glenwoodie multiple times a year for the last several years. Sad to say yesterdays conditions were awful. Tee boxes were in horrific shape. Several holes we almost couldnt get a tee in ground. Fairways had no grass whatsoever. The fact they charged full price was shameful. Id call 1st before booking.
Very Good Day
First time playing this course. Pace was a little slow with a lot of senior foursomes that were simply being older people. Course had some issues related to weather damage but that was not their fault. Enjoyed the layout and the atmosphere. Will plan to come back.
Course Review
Overall course in good shape & rough was long thus slowing pace of play looking for balls even just off the fairway. overall tee boxes were not in very good shape both (whites & greens) .
Everything was good course and staff wise. Pace of play was horrible. Went alone and the 2 groups in front of me were held up because of a 5some playing. 4 walking one in a cart, it was so bad on the back nine I left at the 12th hole.
Glenwoodie Course
Great day for golf. Course in good shape and servuce guys were keeping lawn in Shape . Price was good as well.
Very fair but moderately challenging. Great course that gives you everything you would want in a golf course.
Surprisingly chill
This is the first time in years that the marshals stayed away from our group. No random chatter, no heavy-handed overseeing, & no lurking. That was great.
