1st round this year at CH West course
Course was in very good shape. Sand traps could have been raked more. Too many footprints in the traps. Grass that was cut on the course was not picked up. A few greens had bad patches as well.
I've played the CH East course several times this year and the East course is better maintained and the desk staff and Hazel in the bar/restaurant make the East course exemplary when it comes to the entire round.
DON'T GOLF ON HOLIDAYS
Don't golf on holidays. Slow play and hot, humid weather are a bad combo. Had to wait on every hole. Normally not that busy. Too many golfers that don't know manners on a golf course!
Pleasantly Nice
The Gentleman at the front desk could work on his people skills.
The course was in good condition and great value for the money.
2nd Round in 2026
Golfed on Sunday, April 26th and the West course was in superb condition! The weather was also excellent so it made for an enjoyable round. One opportunity to improve on is the snack bar closes way too early! The course should look at extending the hours of the snack bar at least 6 pm. Late afternoon golfers do not have an opportunity to enjoy a drink or snack after the round is over and this is a real miss!
Season Opener
sand traps were not in good condition and need to be raked after the winter. Otherwise the course was in good shape.

Played a well kept course, with hardly any waiting.

This course years ago was a private country club.
Its about 3000 yards long and has some challenging holes. Nicely maintained and worth the money
