Fresh Meadow Golf Course

Illinois is under restrictions - twosomes walking, tee times 15 minutes apart. The group ahead of us took 50 minutes to play the first two holes. Are you serious? They let us play through on 7, but with 15 minute gaps we shouldn't be close to them. We played 7, 8, 9 in good time, and finished the front in 2:00 which was pretty goodconsidering the first two holes took almost an hour. We proceeded to 10 and then played quickly. Then, we hit another hole. The group ahead was slow, but the group ahead of them barely had a pulse. We waited ten minutes on every tee. The time for the back was 2:40. PLAYING IN TWOSOMES!!!!!! 4:40 in TWOSOMES.

Now, part of the problem was that the rough was 6-8". Any ball in the rough was lost. I saw the group ahead buying Noodles before their round - I found most of them.You don't have PGA players on your course. Cut the rough!!!!

I have played this course alot over the years. never again. Course was in absolutely awful shape, a true cow pasture.

May 17,2020 two T times and both were rained out because of horrific rain storms. Flagg Creek GC phones were not working because of the storm. when I called Golf now the lady said she could not get a hold of Flagg because phone not working but will call me when she finally got through. Never heard a word from her. Since then using golf now worked fine but Im still out this money. Credit or something. Please help.

The course is mostly unattended. The fairways were poorly cut and the it appears that there no one attempting to improve the conditions. A lot like playing in field.. Very disappointing especially when they had nearly 2 months to get ready

Bring your own lawn mower. The fairways are like a regular cut of rough. The rough is like hitting out of a corn field.

Course is in rough shape. Not a good sign when yoU ppull into the parking lot and there is a tattered American flag hanging from the pole. The club house is in need of repair as tarps were on the roof. Bunkers are thin and lots of rocks. Tee boxes were already chewed up - either no maintenance for last season or no work this spring. Looks they just mow the grass and call it a golf course. Not a bad layout but needs a lot of attention before I would return.

Played today. Obviously course has just opened so the course was in good shape. My only issue with fresh meadows is the drainage. I have played here for years and even days after it rains there's standing water. Especially the lake that forms on 10. That really needs to be addressed. But other wise good course. As it's my local course I'll play again. Just please address the drainage issues.

You definitely get what you paid for at this course. The course layout is not great with most of the holes "on top of each other". The greens are poorly maintained. It was early season round - so, I assume the condition should improve in the summer.

I played early march and course was in great condition for the beginning or march. It was cart path only, it can be a little bit of a pain but really a good idea to maintain course conditions. It would be nice if that status could be updated on the golf now app as I probably would of brought my pull cart and walked the course. Pace of play was good considering cart path only. I played using the hot deal which was $12 18 holes with cart. Even without the hot deal it was $24 and that is still worth it. Overall it was a great round and usually is anytime of the year.
