Fresh Meadow Golf Course

The course was in atrocious condition. granted it was very wet, but they did not maintain any of the bunkers and the greens were borderline unplayable. They probably ran at 5-6. To top it all off, the staff was terrible. I was playing as a single and joined a threesome so we had an extra cart. A ranger came over and was extremely rude and yelled at me for having an unnecessary cart on the course. I will definitely never play here again

Unremarkable in terms of layout and course condition and priced accordingly. Sneakily challenging with a few long par 4s (#1 and #10 are both 445 yards from the Blue Tees and a couple par 3s (#5 and #12) that require perfectly placed tee shots. What stands out most is pace of play which, at times, can be best described as a death march. If you're playing after 8am on a weekend and you're just itching for a leisurely 5 1/2-hour round, this is your course. During my latest visit, there were three groups waiting at the tee box on the par 3 12th hole and the par 3 15th. If you want a better shot at finishing in four hours, make your tee time before 8am on the weekends. #4 and #17 both offer fun risk/reward challenges: if you can hit your tee shot over the trees on both holes, you'll be left with a short iron into receptive greens.

I think they need to invest in weed and feed and a mower. You could tell where the fairways went due to the height of the weeds in the fairways. Matched the rough. Poor conditions for the price.

Course in decent shape. Lots of rain had greens fairly soft and true. Rough kinda long. Overall good for value as many other courses in this area were charging higher fees. For price it was good.

Too much money for terrible greens, ball washers were empty, rate of play was slow.

I was really disappointed in the condition of the entire golf course. I understand it's still spring but the bunkers were pretty much unplayable. I've played here at least 200 times growing up and learned to play the game here. When Joe Jenseck owned the place it was a great place to play. This place needs a lot of work, the tee boxes were covered with broken tees from last year. The greens don't have any frog hair/ fringe at all....
No beverage cart....

Course is in pretty decent shape for early season. Greens could be better... Speed was pretty consistent, but they're a little bumpy in spots. Time and care should restore conditions pretty quick.

For this early in the season the course was in good shape. Greens will be sanded this upcoming weekend per the clubhouse.

Thought the greens were well maintained for this time of the year

Worth the price. Longer than it seems from tips. Solid par 4's.

Staff is nice overall. Prices of food and drinks are nicely priced. The fairways need to be mowed! The greens need much improvement. No idea why their are holes on some of the greens. A lot of other courses to play in the area for the $

Very nice conditions, greens in good shape and some holes have challenging slopes and pin placement. Rangers could have done a bit better keeping play moving. Seemed to get backed up without the course being that full. Otherwise a great place for the money.

Would not have played if I knew a high school team was playing there that day. Staff gave no warning...three group backups at every hole

For the value, you just cant beat it. Holes 1, 7, 10 and 12 play long, sometimes into the wind. Fairways are more than generous. Hit it in the correct side for birdie opportunities.

When I played the course had a lot of dead grass and it look like they did not take very good care of the course. I do not think I will go back.

Went out Sunday afternoon with my wife and brother in law..........actually got out 15 minutes early which was nice......then time seemed to stand still..............after we played the first 4 holes in one hour and a half we called the shop asking for a ranger. The older guy who was the starter came around saying someone had called, we said it was us and he asked what was wrong. Well, there were a group of 4 ladies on the 7th hole who were very, very slow (they moved 20 yards in 10 minutes, I timed them). Nothing but open holes in front of them.........we showed the ranger who we were talking about and he drove off and did nothing. We continued to play, soon the rain began to fall...........we somehow finished our 9 holes in just under 3 hours, asked for and received a 9 hole raincheck. That's about it, my wife was livid, that's why I am writing this and not her.

Course was busy, but very slow and should have had a ranger out on the course to move people along.

The greens and fairways were not taken care of very well. Grass was not cut properly whatsoever. Tee boxes were not patched and there were weeds everywhere. The sand traps didn't even have sand in them. It was like hitting off clay. Overall, the course conditions are garbage. It is also an overpriced course. It's not worth playing at this course.
