Fresh Meadow Golf Course

I got charged 60 dollars for 18 holes of golf. Tee’d off 15 mins after paid time. So backed up and poorly organized, it took 30 mins to complete 2 holes. I understand a place not putting resources into a place closing down but don’t charge that price with that minimal effort. Never again golfing here. Wish I could get my money back

If you have time to kill come here you will sit at each hole for about 20-30 minutes had to leave after 12 hole they way over booked

No one showed up to open up for our tee time. We have been waiting for 45 min and now are leaving. This has happened multiple times but this is the worst that still no one has showed from the course.

The greens had just been airated. They were in horrible condition and not playable. No one told us this when we checked in and paid.

Between the aerated greens, insane backups on every hole, and the falling apart club house, would rather have saved my money.

This place gets played on a lot. Most of the tee boxes were dry and the greens were ok. We got backed up a few times, because everyone plays here. But, you can’t find a better deal in near west Chicago-land to play 18! Bitter-sweet with this place for sure.

Course is impossible to find balls even in fair way

If you’ve never played here then I’ll just say this…anything goes. For example while I was teeing off a young kid was cutting the tee box…didn’t stop and wait for me to tee off, just kept cutting. I will say that doesn’t bug me but just warning for golfer. Another example…two holes in front of me today a man was playing shirtless. Not the kind of guy who could get away with playing shirtless either. It’s not uncommon to be in the fairway and see a cart coming directly at you because the person in that cart has decided they are only playing the even number holes today. Upkeep on the course is fair at best. With all that said I do love playing this course. In fact I’ve played it four times this year and plan on playing it more. For the price it’s perfect. Also the staff is insanely friendly!

Charging over $50 to play this course is robbery. It’s in awful condition. Lost multi balls in the fairway because it is so long it’s basically rough. The rough was over 12 inch long on the course. Greens are terrible. Tee boxes even worse. This place takes zero care of the course. I’ll never golf here again. I’d rather not play than pay $50 to lose a box of balls.

Half of the golf is looking for your ball in the 6in tall grass everywhere. Don't play here.

I have played this course a few times in the past before COVID, and I know that we have had a lot of rain, but we could not find balls in the fairway. And the first cut of rough, you could not find unless you were standing right on top of it, and every place else, forget it.

If you’re looking for multiple greens where previous holes haven’t been filled in, standing water on tee boxes, fairways that are really just the rough that they don’t cut, no bathrooms and random trash that just floats in the nice Chicago breeze… all for $50… this is the place for you.

I have played this course on and off for years but I swear the last time I played was worse than I remembered. The cart paths were loaded with pot holes, the fairways were patchy and overgrown, the greens were poorly kept. I don't see how they'll be able to get this thing in good shape for prime golf season. I will most likely pass on playing here again this season.

If you’re looking for a cheap golf day. This is the course. But you will get what you pay for. Half the greens had relocated holes that were not filled. Fairways seemed like that hadn’t been cut in 3 weeks. Very poor drainage. No food on the course.

If you come to this course, bring your own food and some drinks and try to have as much fun as you can.
