I got a great deal via GolfNow, so rating is off of my $60 round vs the regular $160+, which isn’t worth it. The greens are in rough shape, but I enjoyed the layout of the holes and the terrain. Staff was great, I would play again with a GolfNow deal.

Troon Course … Really?

We’ve been coming to Oahu for years and have played The Pearl many times. Troon took over management of the course since we were here last before Covid. We had high expectations, but unfortunately the conditions are actually worse than the last year we were here. Maybe the aftermath of Covid?

Great Layout with Challenges

We’ll kept track , fairly fast greens, kudos to the superintendent and crew. The only detriment was the price comparable to other courses nearby. Rack rate is $160, we were lucky enough to catch a $100 special. This is still higher than the $80 value at Ewa Beach where the carts have GPS. Love to return, but not at full price.

Gorgeous views and good golf

Was greeted with a nice rainbow upon arrival at the course (University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors aptly named). Pleasant people to deal with in the pro shop, practice range and player assistant. Views of Pearl Harbor and the Aloha Stadium are outstanding. Also have a nice view of the western horizon from some holes. Due to Covid-19, no beverage/snack cart was available - plan accordingly. Course was in decent shape and is a fair layout. The ball does not carry far here, if you are used to playing at higher elevation and lower humidity.
