360 Ewa Beach Country Club
About
360° Ewa Beach Country Club is located on the Ewa Plain on the island of Oahu. This award winning Robin Nelson Designed golf course first opened in 1992. 360° Ewa Beach Country Club was the first golf course in Hawaii to plant Seashore Paspalum Grass for its playing surface. Seashore Paspalum is a grass that is an environmentally friendly turf due to the fact that it can be irrigated with non potable water.
Ewa Beach Golf Club has design features that are reminiscent of a traditional Scottish links layout. The layout is designed so the outward nine to takes you away from the clubhouse and you return to the clubhouse on the inward nine. Another feature reminiscent of a Scottish links layout is the double green located on Holes #2 and #16. This double green is the only one on the island of Oahu.
The links layout similarities end as Ewa Beach Golf Club is carved out of a Kiawe Forrest. Tree lined fairways put a premium on driving accuracy. The addition of fairway bunkers and water hazards make Ewa Beach Golf Club a truly challenging golf experience.

Good Course for older golfers
I played the course with three friends on my 83rd birthday. I commend the course for having multiple tee settings, which made it possible for old geezers like us to play from a suitable position (gold tees). The course is in excellent condition with good fairways and reasonable rough. The greens are undulating and extremely fast, which took some time to adapt to, resulting in a lot more 3 putts that we're used to, but it was fun nevertheless. All-in-all it was a delightful experience despite the fact that we were caught in a rainstorm on the 15th hole and didn't complete the round.
What a shame, I suggest going elsewhere...
The Ewa Beach Golf Club is a great layout with close to pristine conditions.
Unfortunately that's the only good things I can say about the course, as it suffers from a major pace of play issue and horrible customer service, likely due to poor management.
Also, conditions could be better, lots of play and few golfers who know that fixing your ball mark, plus one, is a honor.
The result for me was a round destroying pace of play that killed all rhythm, it really was difficult to play waiting forever on every shot, certainly impossible to enjoy.
The starter allowed me to play as a single, behind a fivesome, while behind me was just a threesome, not the smartest. Yes, they actually allow fivesomes, they told me that they even allow sixsomes sometimes, really???
Calls to the pro shop hoping for a ranger went unheard, and later in person after my "round" my comments were further ignored, all I got was "you completed your round and in less that 4 1/2 hours... what more do you want".... wow,, I did not realize that that was the true measurement of golf.
In light of the above, the course is expensive and time consuming and unless you get the first tee time in the morning you are likely to leave frustrated and with buyers remorse, such a shame!
I suggest choosing another of the many great tracks on Oahu.
Good course
The course is in immaculate condition. I thought the course was made unnecessarily difficult due to strange placement on trees. The greens are sloping, hard and fast, so you are penalized for good approach shots. Overall, a good experience, but a bit of a contrived course.
Flat and Open Course, but Interesting
Generally straight fairways with well positioned trees and bunkers to challenge your selection of shots. Fairways were in very good condition. Greens rolled true. Sand in bunkers was hard packed. Open course makes it very hot when the sun is out. Cooler with ice and a face towel are provided. There are cold towels available at the cart return to cool off - a nice touch.
Beware that there is no driving range - only putting and chipping area.
Beautiful Course
Tucked away in the heart of Ewa Beach is a beautiful golf course. Trees and water features that make this course beautiful are also what makes it challenging. The greens and fairways are emaculate, the roughs very thick and greens undulating. There's also full service restaurant with excellent food.
Outstanding course
Outstanding course. May be the best public access in Ohua, if not the best overall private or public.
Ewa Will Not Disappoint You
Great course and greens conditions as always!
We were a twosome playing behind a 5-some that got more than a hole behind the group in front of them. We did more waiting than we'd have liked but still enjoyed the course.
Holes 17 & 18 will test your skills in closing out a good round!
Beautiful & Challenging Course
We’re Canadian snow birds. Ewa is our favourite course and we play it regularly. Of the handful of courses we play, it is easily in the best condition tee to green. It’s very beautiful and straight forward unless you neglect to consider the large kiawe trees that tend hang on either sides of the fairway. Shots slightly off line may put the branches of these large trees in play. Greens are in excellent condition, but usually hard and quick. Staff are courteous and friendly making this course a great overall choice.
Great Find
The best conditioned greens and fairways I've ever played at a public course. Immaculately kept. Highly recommended.
Ample Challenge
When the tradewinds are blowing this course can be a challenge. Greens were in good condition despite some golfers not fixing their ball marks. Don't let the short yardage fool you. Did I mention the wind?
Very nice course
The course is well maintained and has an interesting layout. Everyone was very friendly and took the time to explain the course as it was my first time playing here. The pace of play was at times very slow and that's probably because singles didn't get paired with other single players causing a slow pace. That being said, this was a great course to play and I highly recommend it.
A beautifully groomed course.
Beautiful, immaculate course! Staff was very friendly. Greens recently punched and sanded, nevertheless were still very nice and rolled true. Bunkers are a bit firm. This course is well groomed and among the best on Oahu! A great value.
Outstanding Layout
Great views with an outstanding layout. The course lies at the tail end of the coastline so wind could be a factor depending on the time of play. It was extremely hot and humid during our round; however, the moderate tree coverage in the rough areas provided relief. The course is rather straight forward; however, if you get the ball offline (in the rough) the trees could become an issue. Pace of play was a little slower than I would've liked; however, it was a holiday weekend so I will take that into consideration. Bunker structure was solid and placed in strategic positions for the long hitter. Overall I would highly recommend playing this course whether you are a novice or experienced player. They offer both a local as well as military rate. Twilight rate proved to be the most economical.
Perfectly Manicured
The grass out here is like carpet. The greens were fast and incredibly smooth. This is a pretty flat, tree lined course, with good length to it. The holes are very well designed and fun to play. You cannot get a bad lie out here, it's just manicured to perfection. My only complaint is that there isn't a driving range, but there is a chipping green that you can hit shots of up 100 yards on. Overall, this is a fantastic course that has the feel of an exclusive country club.
Beautiful course
Played 2 courses out here this was the most beautiful course
Good greens
Greens were super super fast and fairways were perfect. Some big groups played slow but we ended in 4 hours so all in all it was great.
A local favorite a half-hour's drive from Honolulu and Waikiki
Locals love Ewa Beach. Since it's not connected to a resort or in a resort district, it tends to get overlooked by tourists. But this is a place traveling golfers should know.
Ewa Beach, which opened in 1992, was the first course in Hawaii to plant Seashore Paspalum.
A unique archaeological site - one of several on the property - sits next to the first tee. The "Kauhale" is a reconstructed residential complex that dates to the earliest record of occupation on the island somewhere between 1000 A.D. and 1695 A.D.
The 6,711-yard course features two distinct nines. The front nine is protected by the oddly shaped branches and trunks of Kiawe trees. The five ponds that impact eight holes come into play more prominently on the more-open back nine.
Fun fact: A huge green, shared by No. 2 and No. 16, remains the only double green on the island.
This course has challenging features.
If you're a straight hitter-avoiding the rough-this course may be relatively not so difficult; otherwise, the sticky rough and the undulating greens could prove the round very challenging.
