Bay View Golf Course

From the get go it was odd. It was a walk up pro shop and the driving range wasn’t open until an hour after our tee time. Most of the holes are par 3 and there is one hole that doesn’t even exist. Tee boxes are in bad shape. Layout of course is odd. One hole you shoot over a road. There are two holes that had views but the rest are odd layout and not great condition. Would not even consider playing here again.

A great short course to shake off the winter rust. The bar is newly renovated and was reasonably priced. There's great scenery and challenging elevation changes on the back 9.

Good spot to warm up for a better course that isn’t executive

Staff was friendly. Wish the driving range was not a separate company. Range did not open until 10am

Our tee-off time: was 11 AM and the course by then was pretty empty. This course has a nice layout, great views from some holes and very challenging greens. Bring your A putting game.

Enjoyed many par 3 holes, chances for pars and birdies fun

Course was in good shape and greens nice and smooth, but holes 10, 10a, and 11 goofy and worth skipping. Rest of back nine awesome and worth the money withexceptional views.

Coming from the east coast I did not expect these HI condition. Grass is different. But I would return if I had a chance.

The biggest issue I had with this course was they made my rider pay a full fee as if they were playing a full round but all they were doing was just riding with me. They Do not do spectator fees you have to pay the full round as if you were playing even if you are just riding along, Wish I knew that before I would not have drove across the island to come here. Course was really muddy. They do not have bathrooms on any holes. There are signs posted up saying no outside beverages allowed but there’s no cart girl riding around or water coolers with water (all empty). Even the ball washer had no water. Aside from all that it was an OK fun part three course. And make sure to pick up your ID and credit card before you leave yeah I know that was another first there.

The course show much improvement over the last couple of years. The only minor complaint I have is pace of play. They are letting 6 people play in a group and that really slows the course down for everyone behind them. They have a new manager and he said pace of play was one concern he is looking into.

The owner is doing a great job improving course conditions. Now they just need to follow some basic golf course procedures to keep pace of play reasonable. They should never allow six players in a group and make sure every player has a set of clubs. There was a group of five in front of us that had two bags of clubs. With a marshal/starter in place you could allow more tee times and make money renting clubs.
