Raccoon Creek Golf Course

About
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,045 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

Public Course feels like a country club
Course was in great shape. Challenging layout with some tricky greens. Great value and friendly staff
Nice Course
Played as the first group off, following a morning tournament. Our group played behind the last group in the tournament for 7 holes, then the course opened up and we played without waiting the rest of the round. First nine took 2 1/2 hours, second 9 less than 2 hours.
Course was in good condition. The greens were a bit slow and the rough was very deep. Shots not in the fairway were generally costly.
Does it matter?
Slack personnel…not friendly to a new-comer…starter got job done, but not in a friendly way either! Mismatched , mainly because of time, between golfers of different abilities…good course set-up, played at wrong time of day (sunshine arrested ability to see holes).
Great Conditions
The overall course condition was probably the best I’ve ever seen it; tee boxes, fairways and greens were in excellent shape.
My local course
This is my 3rd golf season living by and playing at Racoon Creek. They are starting to put some money back into the course with the higher greens fees we are paying now for a normal weekday round. New range balls just came in last week, yellow now so you won’t get your white ball confused on the holes that back up to the driving range. It sped up the pace of play a bit I noticed for my shanks that go random places. Beers could be a bit cheaper or some sort of deal if you buy multiple. Staff is friendly and the course is playing pretty good. I always say this time of year “let’s see what it plays like in another month”
Beautiful conditions.
Course is in great shape. Lush, green and challenging pins.
Rangers could be more aggressive with beginners playing faster.
Awesome, difficult track in Littleton
Really was stoked to try this track and boy was I not disappointed. Definitely a harder track if you have a bit of a slice sometimes like me but was such an interesting one. Great conditions. Only thing is no water on course so just fill up at the turn. Would definitely play here again just might bring a few extra balls
Not worth it.
14 min late start. 5 hour round. Tee boxes lumpier than oatmeal. Lots of GUR. Besides the views of the foothills and the bar the value isn’t there.
Great layout
Greens tough for first timer rolled well hard to read Enjoyed every bit of the course
Mid March round
Normal pace of play for a Sunday 4:40. Easy course fun to play greens good speed for March.
