Fun Course
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this course but I thought it looked intriguing and I was right. The course doesn’t play too hard but it throws in enough obstacles to make you focus.
The course is full of dog legs, blind shots, tricky sand traps, thick rough placed strategically, and lots of natural hazards. These all ended up giving you a good experience and really not knowing what to expect one hole to another. The par 3’s were all difficult, mix in some long par 4’s and really long par 5’s and you have a good afternoon of golf.
I recommend the blue tees otherwise things get too easy and the tee boxes were a bit chewed up. The worst part was the pace of play, the ranger was no where to be found and there was a huge bottleneck for 14 holes which really impacted things for me.

Need to take better care of greens. Sand traps had rocks in them

Nice course
This course has a fairly easy layout with some tough driving holes. I you can aim your tee shot you will score will here.

Greens decent
Course not bad for early in the season , its about average for around the Chicago area

Mellow meadows
Overall a pretty good course to play. I know it’s early in the season and after days of raining some areas to approach the tee’s we’re very muddy. A couple of holes were you can’t see the green make a good challenge

Early Season Golf
I always enjoy golfing at the Meadows. The season is still early but the course was in decent condition. The fairways were nice and the greens were decent. I had a great putting day even though it had just rained the night before. Outside of puddles on the cart path, this course does well with draining water. A recommended course for the day after rain.

Always Pleased
Love coming here on late afternoons to get a post-workday round in. Staff so flexible and friendly, pace of play always great. Course is not too tough, but not too easy. Helps me practice what I need to for sure. Ball rolls decently on the greens. Generally course can get pretty muddy some days, but you make do. Always pleased with my rounds here.

Easy and quick!
Great course for someone like me who wants a quick round and is not a big hitter. The course offers a lot of opportunities for those of us who are not great at golf to feel good about our game. Not *too* easy, but it's manageable! Have never had to let anyone play through / felt pressured to play faster.
